Once I see such post without a price tag, I don't even bother, I just pass.

The idea of it, is mainly to generate engagements and that automatically also drives the reach of the video/ content. The more comments, the more spread. It’s just algorithm arithmetic. Most of the times that’s just what it is. I also know, some others do it to profile people

Real matter though. The moment I find out the price isn’t in the product caption I just conclude the seller is not serious or a scammer.

I think it’s two things: either the price is negotiable, or they don’t want competitors to know their numbers. At least on the healthy side of business, but could be something else.

I don’t even stress myself, once you don’t make your prices public, I just skip. Even in supermarkets prices are transparent so you can make your decision on the go.
