You see that over explaining things, I've stopped doing it. Especially when I know the persons I'm talking to are smart and intelligent. When I've seen the complex things they've deciphered and solved. I realize their obtuseness is intentional, and I stop over explaining

This is so good, and it sums it up so nicely. Thank you 🙏

This video came at the right time. Currently battling something like this. Thank you

I am happy you found it useful.

This is fantastic!! More videos please.

I am so lazy at making them, but I’ll try my best 😅

Thank you. 🙏 😊 I just learnt something great.

Thank you so much for this video 🙏🙏

Well noted

Is this applicable to an early career person?

This is a communication tip that helps to create effective boundaries and keeps one from saying the wrong thing in the bid to manage awkwardness or to try to make others buy a point that they may have already disagreed with. I don’t see why this can’t be used by anyone.

Thank you for responding. I was looking at the aspect of a superior consistently demanding response to what you have already answered. I get your point well now. Please if you don't mind, kindly check your DM Thank you

That's a different situation, I presume.

Sure. You are right

One person that bought 'enjoy the awkwardness' home for me was a guardian. Whenever we are on our way to his workplace which is also my IT place, we sit in silence in the car. The three months I stayed with him and going to work with him, I don't think we spoke for an hour.

Thank for this video ma🙌🙌

You are welcome.

This is awesome.....thumb up for you again and I know a lot of people are guilty of this. But sometimes is unavoidable...... especially, the extrovert (and Sanguine in particular) will find it difficult to comply with this golden nugget! Cheers!

Yep! I see your point.

But what advice will you give for people in this category, because it is certain they will do it.... especially sanguine, (which enters a place with his/her mouth) and a choleric that wants to dominate every conversatn! I know the melancholic/phlegmatic will find it easy to do!

They’ll probably learn really fast or really slow that they cannot fill every void. The various interactions in their workplace will nudge them in the right direction.

Most times they are blessings in disguise to the group because sometimes or most times in the process of over sharing they make some valid points that leaders in the group can leverage on and will later help the group !

Yep - I see your point.

Thank you for your understanding! As a leader, how to minimize their weakness and maximize their strength is very important to the success of the group..... Because they are the ones that make group very interesting/lively! If they keep quiet it makes the Group more awkward!

Yep - I see your point.

I know right😂😂😂

Thinking of a problem where none actually exists.

From a psychology standpoint, it’s to do with with humans’ tendency toward an acquiescence bias; in order to get along with others, we tend to ask questions that reduce the risk of putting friction on our relationship.

I like this...this is good.

Thank You 🙏
