Stop re explaining your context to AI. Google just killed copy paste workflows. Here’s the new play. → Build a Notebook LM “knowledge vault” → Drop in PDFs notes links research → Let Notebook LM extract key facts + summaries → Keep everything organized by topic → Attach the... show more

Hmm i don't have the NotebookLM icon in Gemini yet. Maybe they're still rolling that out

The shift from 'prompt engineering' to 'knowledge management' seems inevitable. I'm curious to see how tools evolve to handle more unstructured data types.

Google workspace has all the ingredients but it’s frustrating af Gemini can’t read Notebook or write to any workspace apps like Notebook or docs. What I take from this is add your Notebook URL to a Gemini gem in the instructions. Side note: i use feedly to feed urls into a Sheets doc daily, that Sheets doc is a source inside my Notebook. So my Notebook is being updated daily automatically

feels like we went from “paste prompt pls” to “here’s my entire brain in a zip file”

Stop wasting time copy-pasting. Build a Notebook LM vault. Drop PDFs, notes, links. It extracts facts, summarizes, organizes. Hook it into Gemini → it just knows. Hours saved. 🔥

been experimenting with this kind of “knowledge vault” setup myself the biggest win is how much context sticks between sessions makes deep research feel almost like having a silent partner in the room.

Notebook LM + Gemini integration is underrated. No more copy-pasting context between tools. This is how RAG should work for everyone

The shift from just asking questions to actually managing knowledge bases is changing everything about how these tools work.

It's inevitable for NotebookLM to have the option to source your Gemini conversations in the future. The entire ecosystem is locked in and that's why Google will win.

Huge rush to building those memories for agents. Bet google did a great job with it too. Thanks for sharing! 👍

But... what's the difference between asking directly on NotebookLM compared to Gemini?

The end of copy-paste is an interesting development. I'm thinking about how this affects information architecture and content creation, particularly in SEO.

Can I get SOP?

, This is exactly the right mental model. The win isn’t faster prompting. It’s a persistent context. Once you treat NotebookLM as a living knowledge base instead of a chat window, copy-paste workflows disappear. The AI stops asking “what’s the context?” because the context already exists. This also hints at where AI UX is going: • knowledge lives somewhere stable • agents reference it, not you • work becomes cumulative, not reset every session Prompting is a temporary skill. Building reusable context is a durable one. We focus on these workflow shifts and why they matter long term. Follow @techificial if you want to work with AI once and benefit from it repeatedly.
