Stop rotating back post in 2025. Rotating back post isn’t always bad, but never tunnel vision on it. Always look for opportunities to cut the play during your rotation. Here's TempoH doing this perfectly.

Stop rotating back. I still see so many players instantly rushing back into rotation without looking to follow up on a teammate’s clear or going for bumps. It is not always bad to rotate back, but do not automatically default to it, especially if you trust your teammates on defense. Here is an example of me forcing for my teammates and scoring off their clear by staying upfield.

This video looks like a rotating wheel. But watch just one single sphere. It never rotates. Every ball only moves in a perfectly straight line back and forth. This is simple harmonic motion where linear position follows: x = R cos(ωt) By perfectly offsetting the timing of each straight path, the collective motion creates the illusion of rotation.

Most runners have underdeveloped internal rotation. That's why stretching your hips never seems to fix anything. 90/90 heel lift trains the exact range that's missing. → Front leg in flexion and external rotation → Back leg in extension and internal rotation → Lift the back heel against gravity, that's the hip IR working → Can't lift it? Lean your torso slightly away from the working leg → Move slow. 2-3s up, 2-3s down I'm using a 1kg weight here. Start without load and build up. I'm adding this exercise in my routine because just like most runners, my adduction and internal rotation strength is lacking. 3 x 8-10 each side. If your pelvis is rotating, drop the weight. Quality over quantity.

Incredibly difficult to run to drop all your weight and explode back outside flat Look how Pearsall instead runs this like a whip at the top and comes wide open. This is what great coaching is!
