Half right. Stoics recognize what they cannot control. But that doesn’t mean aloofness and disengaging from the opportunities life offers.

One can control many things, not just their response. We can be the cause of things, not just the effect of them.

We don't control the outcome, but we can control a lot of things preceding the outcome, which can sway things in our favor or disadvantage. We are not completely powerless. If that was true, then why make videos at all? Why have a social media presence? Why write books? Why get out of bed?
