Let me try and explain and I won’t SHOUT. The Republican argument is that he should be treated like every other US citizen. There should be no 2 tier justice. On that basis, he should currently be held in custody pending trial. It’s not the fault of DOJ that he’s such a prolific criminal. He is being afforded due process.
