To bake potatoes you wash them , dry them and apply oil to the skins and put them on a tray. This makes crispy skins. If you want them softer you can add some steam in the oven. This goes for all roasted or baked veggies. Aluminum foil with soda in water cleans oxidized metals

I'm more concerned about the aluminum being sprayed on the population. We can't avoid inhaling those nano particles that return to earth.
