Here’s the tier list

I legitimately don’t understand how so many people are comfortable using Tangem without a seed phrase. I’m not sure if your guy Fred showed you, but I emailed him in April re my Tangem app glitching out and refusing the passcode. Since I didn’t have a seed phrase I was 100% locked out and couldn’t access my crypto. After about a week once I had given up someone messaged me saying they had the same issue and the solution was to type the passcode in another app, copy, then paste into Tangem. It worked and from that day on I will never go seedless again or even recommend them since they don’t take UTXO control very seriously.

I only recommend using it WITH a seed. That’s how I use it. Fortunately they let the user decide

@brt2412 Mmm not sure it is an S tier. I also use tangem (but with small funds there), but even if you can use with seed, you can’t insert a passphrase. In my option, It is a good solution to have always with you your hw, but not the best one

@brt2412 You can absolutely use a passphrase with Tangem. You can import one or create one

Only if you rely on seed created with other wallets. I mean it is better for all users to have a native solution. I think that the average guy who buy Tangem doesn’t have so much experience with self custody and it is not to easy to switch from a wallet to an other only because you have to import the passphrase or create one starting from an existent hw. In my opinion, they should work on it and allow users to create the wallet with passphrase from scratch

@brt2412 No that’s still not accurate You create the seed phrase using Tangem Reset the wallet Import the seed phrase Enter (create) your passphrase Done Regardless of which wallet you use, seed phrase ALWAYS comes before passphrase.

Is there a way to redo a Tangem account for the seed phrase? Or need a whole new wallet?

Yep, this video shows you the process

The future of wallets are fully on-chain and decentralized.

Post here plz so I don’t have to watch 20 min

Not that important to you then lol

@grok make a summary of this video

Sounds like a paid Tangem promo.Even Ledger managed to crack their card.

For me bitbox Is The best

Trezor is open source and doesn't have a history of hardware failure/breach. Why are they on the list?

Might want to watch the video before commenting….

I have watched your videos in the past and very informative, open and honest. Education and teaching people about cold wallets is very important and for new bitcoiners it is a total mind melting researching. Great work, keep it up!

What do you think about @SafePal ?

@SafePal It ranks lower on my tier list Not my first choice

@SafePal It is easy to use for DeFi

@SafePal So is virtually any other cold wallet

You seem to be pushing Tangem pretty hard. But honestly, would you really trust a seedless setup—or entering your seed phrase on a phone—to store a large amount of crypto? If the Tangem app ever fails or gets compromised, who’s going to take responsibility for the users’ losses?

What about the blockstream jade plus ?

@grok what are his top 5 picks?

what ater your thoughts on @ELLIPAL ??

@ELLIPAL Literally talk about it in the video

Trezor is supreme you are retarded

Tell me you didn’t watch the video without telling me you didn’t watch the video

Thoughts on Keepkey wallet? Been with them for over 10 years with no issues.

Pero al que hackearon fue al coldcard. Entonces?

What’s your point

Really honest take on wallets. Thanks. I would add much of ledger is closed source. I feel like there is a bias there because you didn’t mention that and feel like you should have.

Because that’s a false statement. Ledger is 95% open source

This was a great video broski. @incognitoV1_

Good stuff right here

Thanks for watching!

Thank you for the time you give to share information...

@DCENTWALLETS your response?

Dude, KUDOS for 1) perceiving, 2) identifying and 3) trusting your "feeling/intuition/gut". This is a critical tool to nurture - especially for men who "think" a lot ... Way to go man. That's the Universe guiding you in the right direction.

@cryptokeepkey

With LEMNI you can do it quantum-resistant, wallet-theft proof for the native BTC you already hold, or native ETH, or anything on Arbitrum, Avalanche, Base, Optimism, or Polygon chains. These chains are opt-in quantum-resistant now... ROCK ON!!!

If you’ve got 2 or 3 devices like a pc or a phone then try @vultisig You may like it.

Great video man. Trezor has always been amazing. Other than leaking customer info. They are A+

@Trezor

You really love Tangem huh 😂 but would you actually trust a seedless wallet with a serious amount of crypto, or type your seed phrase into a phone? funny how those questions somehow never get the same attention.

Which is better? Which is the most reliable?

@SMQKEDQG

You can use cold wallets without using hardware wallets. I have had too many friends lose money that way. If it happens to you learn how to file freeze orders. They are the only way out

audit : hardid, Key generation, recovery and signing all happen on-device, with user interaction via the touchscreen; only signatures ever leave for the host/network.as

Thoughts on keystone pro ? They offer dice entropy

Good security. App and overall usability lacks
