If you have been indulging in perversity, cast those spirits out as well: adultery, incest, homosexuality, bestiality and anything else that applies. After that, make a covenant with your eyes that you won't look at anything that displeases your Father. If you do, immediately repent and get into prayer, asking God to deliver you. If you have intrusive thoughts or images, you can rebuke them in the name of Jesus Christ. If they come from trauma ask God to heal the trauma by the blood of Jesus Christ. This battle is winnable but you have to discern the contours of the battle because it is going to be different in different cases.

Gotta build a relationship with Christ where he is the focus, and resisting temptation will be the natural result, because you'll want to please him. Focusing on the sin leads to more temptation. Focus instead on Jesus.

@haymes_joshua What's your advice to a wife whose husband has this vice? This topic comes up weekly in a Christian conservatives group I'm in. Most women in the group push for separation/say it's grounds for divorce. I tend to see it as a vice he needs help overcoming.
