Hi. Do you think about the Health and Medical situation in Gaza. They need many things. Clean water, medicine, food, medical equipment, shelter and thousands of other things. You say yes, but how successful have you been in practice?

You actually did a pretty good job on the advice for stopping infections … except of course - the recommendation to get vaccinated (since we all know they don’t stop infection)

Ostrich whistleblower warns CFIA task force preparing to move in to cull healthy flock A credible whistleblower has tipped off Universal Ostrich Farms that the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is quietly mobilizing for its kill operation within days to wipe out the farm’s 400 healthy ostriches in Edgewood, B.C. According to the source, whom Rebel News will keep anonymous, the agency is assembling a task force in Vancouver and Surrey to coordinate with the hired ostrich hitmen tasked with carrying out the controversial cull. Despite the birds being healthy for over 200 days — and expert statements defending their natural immunity to the avian flu along with a standing invitation from the U.S. government to spare the birds and collaborate on the ground-breaking antibody immunology research their eggs are already being used for — the CFIA has refused to retest the animals since two of the farm's deceased carcases tested positive last year for H5N1 Through tears, farm spokesperson and co-owner’s daughter, Katie Pasitney, gave a statement to Rebel News which pleads for public support after learning of this latest development. “If anyone wants to come and support us, we ask that everyone remain peaceful and cooperative. We are asking people to film what is happening, bring your phones, and absolutely no violence. Support us as a family. Support the future of farming. Support what is right. "The lives of these ostriches, a breed that has existed for millions of years, will die when all we’ve ever asked is for them to be tested to prove they are healthy, they are not mutating some virus that’s spreading to others. "Come spend a day with these animals and see for yourself, they are healthy, mating and are not sick. We are doing everything we can to save them. This is the last stand.” I’m packing up now and heading back to 301 Langille Road to be the eyes and ears of those who can’t attend, as this critical story unfolds. Just like the last time I had to embed myself into the farm to do so, I’ve rented a camper van and am working on getting Starlink set up so I can report live from the scene. The farmers are praying for a miracle and are exploring any last-ditch legal options to stop the slaughter of these birds and the science that will die along with them if the state has their way. Eating isn’t just something we do because we have to. Food is part of who we are, how we spend time with friends and family and connect to our culture. I’m a Greek immigrant. Many of my best memories are from my childhood in Athens, where my mother loved to cook. My sister and I would come home from school, and we’d sit around the kitchen table for long meals that always ended with walnuts dipped in Greek honey. To this day, I take every opportunity to recreate these cherished moments around the table with family and friends. How and what we eat is one of five daily behaviors we focus on at Thrive – along with sleep, movement, managing stress and connecting with others – to improve our health. With the new Thrive Global Global Cookbook, our aim is to share simple, healthy and delicious recipes and ways that can make healthy eating affordable, easy and fun. With over 60 breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack and drink recipes from renowned chefs and food experts, including Ina Garten, Chef José Andrés 🕊️🥘🍳, Daniel Humm, Diane Kochilas, Candice Kumai and Mona Vand, as well as dozens of creative swaps and tips for healthy eating, cooking and shopping curated by Tess Bredesen, Thrive’s Nutrition Director, the Thrive Global Cookbook helps readers plan and prepare easy-to-make meals with nutritious, budget-friendly ingredients. I hope the recipes in this cookbook show how you can make easy and affordable meals that are both delicious and healthy. We are proud to partner with Blue Shield of CA Promise Health Plan to bring this cookbook to so many people. And especially meaningful to me in this holiday season is that the Thrive Global Foundation is teaming up with SharkNinja to not only give out the cookbook but also kitchen appliances, like blenders, food processors and cookware, to empower people to prepare these nourishing recipes with ease. 12 science-backed strategies for cancer prevention (00:00) Avoid tobacco — Quitting smoking reduces excess mortality risk by ~90% if done in early adulthood; quitting later can still cut lung cancer risk by 50% within 10–15 years. (00:58) Maintain a healthy body weight — Obesity increases risk for ~13 cancer types. For example, obesity is linked to 50–60% of endometrial cancers. ~11% of cancers in women and ~5% of cancers in men are linked to excess body weight. (02:45) Regular physical activity — At least 150 min/week of vigorous or 300 min/week of moderate exercise significantly reduces cancer risk. (03:32) Eat fiber-rich foods — Each additional 10 grams/day of fiber reduces colorectal cancer risk by ~10%. Eating five servings of fruits and vegetables daily can slash colon cancer risk by 50–60%. (05:46) Limit processed meat and ultra-processed foods — Regular consumption is strongly linked to increased colorectal cancer rates, mirroring the exponential rise in incidence since the 1930s due to dietary shifts. (07:00) Reduce alcohol intake — Daily alcohol consumption significantly raises cancer risk. Even moderate drinking (one drink/day) raises breast cancer risk by ~10%; two to three drinks/day boosts it ~20%. (08:12) Use sunscreen — Consistent sunscreen use reduced melanoma incidence by 50% in a 10-year randomized trial; critical since melanoma rapidly metastasizes. (09:06) Test your home for radon — Radon is the second leading cause of lung cancer in the U.S. Radon enters homes invisibly through soil, particularly during winter when doors and windows stay closed. (09:52) Manage stress — Chronic stress increases cancer incidence through immune and inflammatory pathways, though exact biological mechanisms remain unclear. (10:17) Prioritize sleep and circadian rhythm — Night-shift work is classified as a probable carcinogen due to circadian disruption. Regularly getting 7–8 hours of sleep supports hormonal and immune regulation to reduce cancer risk. (10:56) Vitamin D supplementation — Clinical trials show 2,000 IU/day can reduce cancer-related deaths. Genetic studies reinforce that low vitamin D levels significantly elevate cancer mortality risk. (14:54) Avoid beta-carotene supplements if you previously smoked — High-dose beta-carotene supplements (30 mg/day) increased lung cancer risk by 28% in former smokers, likely due to interactions within lung tissue.

Through the last week of negotiations, I’ve been saying to our school district, our educators, and our parents that I want our kids to be in school on Monday. The conversations were productive yesterday, continuing well into the night, but it appears that now, work has ended for the evening, and our public schools will be closed tomorrow. I’m disappointed that the parties could not come to an agreement. And frankly, I’m frustrated—real progress has been made, and there are hours left in the day that should be spent working to keep schools open tomorrow. There is no reason both parties can’t be at the table right now figuring this out. These are complex and important negotiations. That’s why I, and other city leaders, asked both parties this morning to allow three additional days for schools to stay open while conversations continue. I have made myself and my office available to both parties at any time. I have been here all day, and I will stay as long as it takes to get this done—but I am continuing to urge the parties to reach an agreement as soon as possible. At the same time, our team has been preparing for this scenario all week. The city is ready to provide support to public school students. That includes meal distribution for students who rely on school for food access, extra hours at community childcare centers and Rec and Park programs, and community safety resources to keep kids safe if they’re not in school. If your family is impacted by school closures, please check in with your childcare or afterschool programs to see if they have extended hours. Local public libraries are also open as normal—but remember: children under 8 must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver. For resources and information, visit San Franciscans deserve schools where students thrive and our educators feel truly supported. I am disappointed that the parties couldn’t reach an agreement today, but I will continue to do whatever I can to keep the adults talking so our kids can keep learning. And I have talked to the leaders on both sides, I am confident that if they come back to the table and stay there, they can get this done quickly.

BAN HQ Medical Committee presents Diabetic Awareness - World Diabetes Day 2024. World Diabetes Day is observed every year on November 14th, marking an important opportunity to raise awareness about diabetes and advocate for better prevention, diagnosis, and management of the disease. The day became an official United Nations (UN) day in 2006. This year’s theme, "Access to Diabetes Education," underscores the need for better information and resources to help prevent and manage diabetes effectively. The Medical Team of Brothers across Nigeria (BAN) worldwide is proud to recognize World Diabetes Day by supporting the established framework for diabetes education, which includes: 1. Learning and Knowledge Sharing. 2. Prevention. 3. Identification and Treatment. UNDERSTANDING DIABETES Diabetes is a disease that results from excess sugar in the blood, causing serious health problems over time. The Types of Diabetes: 1. Type 2 Diabetes: The most common form, accounting for about 90% of cases. It occurs when the body doesn’t use insulin effectively or doesn’t produce enough. 2. Type 1 Diabetes: An autoimmune condition, usually diagnosed in childhood, where the body cannot produce insulin. 3. Gestational Diabetes: Occurs during pregnancy and usually goes away after childbirth, but it increases the risk of developing type 2 diabetes later in life. 4. Prediabetes: A condition where blood sugar levels are higher than normal but not high enough to be considered type 2 diabetes. 1 in 3 adults has prediabetes, highlighting the need for early intervention and lifestyle changes. SYMPTOMS OF DIABETES The symptoms of diabetes vary, and some people (especially those with prediabetes, gestational diabetes, or type 2 diabetes) may not experience symptoms at all. In type 1 diabetes, symptoms usually appear quickly and are more severe. Common symptoms include: I. Increased thirst or urination II.Fatigue III. Blurry vision IV. Slow-healing sores or infections RISK FACTORS A variety of factors contribute to the risk of developing type 2 diabetes, including: Age and genetics, Lifestyle factors:, poor diet, lack of physical activity, and smoking increase the likelihood of developing diabetes. Social factors: Access to healthy food, healthcare, and safe spaces for exercise also play a significant role in managing and preventing diabetes. Race and Ethnicity: People from certain racial or ethnic backgrounds, including Black, Hispanic, American Indian, and Asian American populations, are at higher risk for type 2 diabetes. Discrimination and stigma: These factors can exacerbate the challenges faced by marginalized communities in managing diabetes. COMPLICATIONS When diabetes is not properly controlled, it can cause serious and even life-threatening complications, including Heart disease and strokes, Nerve damage (neuropathy), Kidney damage, Eye problems, Foot issues, Skin and mouth infections, Hearing loss, Memory issues, Depression and Anxiety. PREVENTION Preventing or delaying type 2 diabetes is possible through early lifestyle changes. The following strategies can help reduce the risk of developing diabetes: 1. Eat a Healthy Diet 2. Get Active 3. Maintain a Healthy Weight 4. Quit Smoking 5. Limit Alcohol Intake 6. Get Regular Checkups 7. Manage Stress 8. Sleep Well CONCLUSION World Diabetes Day is an important reminder of the growing global impact of diabetes and the urgent need for education, awareness, and action. This year’s theme highlights the critical need for better information and resources to prevent and manage the disease. By focusing on education, early detection, and lifestyle changes, we can work together to reduce the burden of diabetes and create a healthier future for all. #BANWorldwide, #BrothersAcrossNigeria #WorldDiabetesDay, #WDD2024, #DiabetesAwareness, #KnowYourNumbers, #DiabetesPrevention, #14November, #AccesstoDiabetesCare

🥣The Budwig Protocol: A 70-Year-Old Cancer Protocol I Still Use Today You’ve probably never heard of it— But this simple 2-ingredient blend has been part of my recovery since day one. It’s called the Budwig Protocol, developed in 1952 by German biochemist Dr. Johanna Budwig—a 7-time Nobel Prize nominee who was decades ahead of her time. She believed that healing cancer starts by restoring your cells’ electrical charge. Here’s how it works It combines: ✅Flaxseed oil (rich in omega-3s) ✅Sulfur-based protein (quark (cottage cheese), sheep’s yogurt, or coconut yogurt) This combination helps: Rebuild your cell membranes Recharge your mitochondrial voltage Restore oxygen flow and terrain function Strengthen your body’s ability to resist cancer recurrence 🔥Budwig’s early research showed this combo could normalize cellular respiration + support apoptosis in abnormal cells. I used it throughout my healing journey from terminal brain cancer- And I still eat it every single week. Because it works. Want the full recipe? See page 53 of my Resilience Protocol. 💥Comment “PROTOCOL” to get the full healing guide 💥Comment “EMAIL” for my detox & anti-inflammatory tips 💥Comment “CONSULT” to work with me or my team 1-on-1 👉Check your messages for the links. ⚠️DISCLAIMER: This content is for educational purposes only. 2 out of 3 adults suffer from broken sleep. It silently wrecks your testosterone, ages your brain faster, & weakens your immune system. Use these 7 tips to fall asleep faster & for longer:🧵 1. Stop waking up very early Your body doesn’t care about 5 AM — it cares about consistency. Set a fixed sleep & wake time (yes, even on weekends). That rhythm trains your brain to fall asleep faster & wake up with real energy. 2. Get morning sunlight within 30 minutes of waking Your eyes need natural light to reset your body’s internal clock. Just 10 minutes of sunlight tells your brain it’s daytime, boosting: • Mood • Energy • Alertness Now, your body knows by when to "get tired". 3. Optimize bedroom temperature Your body needs to cool down by about 1°C (2°F) to fall asleep. The optimal temperature? Keep your room between 60–67°F (15–19°C) — it’s the sweet spot for deep sleep. 4. Take magnesium 50–70% of adults are magnesium deficient. Magnesium glycinate (200–400 mg): • Helps your body drift into deep sleep • Calms your nervous system • Lowers cortisol Take it 30-60 minutes before bed. This blend contains Magnesium Glycinate, L-Theanine, & 7 other sleep nutrients. Find it here (AMAZON PRODUCT LINK): 5. No caffeine after 2PM Adenosine is the chemical building up in your brain to make you feel sleepy. Well, caffeine blocks it. Even an afternoon coffee can reduce deep sleep by 20–30%... 6. No blue-light 60 minutes before bed Your brain thinks blue light = daytime. Screens, LEDs, & bright overhead lights block melatonin & delay deep sleep: 7. Last meal 2 hours before bed Late-night eating spikes blood sugar & body temperature. Give your digestive system time to rest so your body can focus on recovery, not digestion: *Every body works differently, this is not medical advice, just what worked on me." *Always consult a health expert before following any protocols." *Affiliate links included.* How many hours do you sleep at night? If not enough, will you try any of these tips? Let me know in the comments. I'm 21 & obsessed with health. If you liked this tweet: 1. Follow Achilleas for more 2. Friends Last night, another Danish airport was forced to close due to sighting of another flock of "mysterious drones"! (Many were sighted, hovering and flying over for many hours - but you can see just one of them in the video below). This time, all flights from Aalborg airport - which also serves as a military base - had to be halted. As I told you just the other day - these "mysterious drones" are going to keep appearing over airports, military bases and populated areas over the next few months. And it won't just be happening in Denmark. It could happen anywhere! Last year it started with military bases and airports in the UK, then it happened in military bases in Germany, and finally it moved to the US and the city sightings in New Jersey. And I predict there will be a similar pattern this year.... the sightings will spread to other countries, and they will eventually become most active over a large, populated area. This time it could all culminate with sightings over London, or Berlin, or Barcelona - or maybe even New York City! WHY? Because they WANT to be seen! These are NOT spy drones from Russia, or amateur drones being piloted by some kind of anarchist group! These are UAPs/UFOs that are intentionally trying to gain our attention. I repeat: They WANT to be seen! These aren't clandestine military devices.... So, PLEASE don't believe anyone who claims as much. Just use your common sense: Spy drones don't emit bright flashing lights and hover for long periods so that anyone can see them! And if those basic facts don't convince you, then ask yourself this question: if these "mysterious drones" are enemy spy drones then why has no country ever shot them down? I'll tell you why: Because they can't! These craft are technologically superior to us! Not only are these UAP/UFOs able to come and go as they wish, without us being able to "jam" their flights or intercept them in any way - but I believe they can also "shape shift" and mimic our own technology. And if they were in any way hostile - trust me we would know about it by now! I have no doubt that these UAP/UFOs have a PEACEFUL intent...but it is clear that they DO want to be seen, and they DO want to grab our attention. I believe that right now, they are deliberately orchestrating what we might call a "Peaceful Protest"...they are trying to make us aware that we are not alone, and that we are NOT the most powerful "players" on this planet...they are trying to raise our awareness and consciousness, while also displaying a soft show of power to encourage, nudge and softly steer us in a better direction. So DON’T let anyone use these sightings as an excuse to start or escalate any current human hostilities! Friends - Wherever you live, look up and stay alert. WATCH the skies, but DON'T believe the lies!

🚨 WARNING: SOMETHING TERRIBLE WILL HAPPEN ON MONDAY!! → Fed rate cuts are CANCELLED. → U.S.-Iran peace deal has officially COLLAPSED. → China and Japan are SELLING U.S. Treasuries. → Stock markets are DUMPING amid AI bubble fears. If you're holding any assets now, you MUST know this: When markets open next week, this won't be "just another dip." Stocks will dump again. Metals will crash hard. Bitcoin and crypto will collapse. Large institutions and major funds are already dumping ALL risk assets. They're not seeking upside. They're minimizing risk and preparing for a market crash. At the same time, pressure is intensifying across the global financial system. The Federal Reserve has made it clear that interest rates will remain higher for longer. Japan has officially intervened in the market with yen support. Meanwhile, China and Japan continue to sell their U.S. Treasury holdings, adding even more strain to the world's largest bond market. When the largest foreign holders of U.S. debt retreat, liquidity starts to evaporate. → Interest rates will stay elevated. → Japan is actively propping up the yen. → China and Japan continue reducing U.S. Treasury holdings. → The U.S.-Iran ceasefire is officially off the table. → Liquidity conditions are constricting across financial markets. → Bond market volatility keeps escalating. → Funds are slashing equity exposure. → The AI-driven rally is rapidly losing steam. → Risk appetite is dwindling across multiple asset classes. This is no longer just a single-market issue. Multiple sources of stress are unfolding simultaneously. That's how financial chain reactions begin. As liquidity tightens and capital flows reverse, fear spreads rapidly across every major asset class. This is no longer just about market positioning. It's about systemic pressure building beneath the surface. I have spent decades studying macro cycles, liquidity flows, and systemic market reactions like these. That's how I knew Bitcoin would peak in October 2025 and called the $126K top. I'll share my next call here first. Follow and turn on notifications.

🚨 WARNING: MONDAY WILL BE THE WORST DAY OF 2026!! → Fed just confirmed rate HIKES. → Iran violated the ceasefire, and the peace deal is CANCELLED. → Japan is DUMPING U.S. Treasuries. → The AI bubble is starting to COLLAPSE. If you hold any assets today, you MUST read this: When markets open next week, this won't be “just another dip.” Stocks will dump. Bonds will dump. Gold and Silver will dump. Bitcoin will collapse. And insiders already know what's coming. They are not buying assets right now. They are reducing exposure and preparing for the biggest sell-off event of the year. At the same time, pressure is intensifying throughout the global financial system. China is continuing to reduce Treasury exposure. Japan's bond market remains under severe pressure, forcing the BOJ into continued support operations. When the world's largest creditors step away from sovereign debt markets simultaneously, liquidity evaporates. → Global bond markets are under extreme stress → Japanese bond yields continue surging higher → Demand for U.S. Treasuries is deteriorating → Liquidity conditions are tightening across markets → Volatility is spreading through every major asset class → Energy markets remain highly unstable → The AI bubble is starting to deflate as equities already weaken → Asset managers are dumping stocks and reducing market exposure This is no longer a localized issue. This is systemic stress building across MULTIPLE sectors simultaneously. And now geopolitical risk has escalated even further. New strikes between the U.S. and Iran have erupted after the ceasefire was violated. That is how energy markets become impossible to control. Oil does not rise slowly. It goes parabolic. Inflation accelerates worldwide. Which means interest rates stay higher for longer. And risk assets? They do not dip. They DUMP HARD. This is exactly how financial chain reactions begin. Because once markets start pricing long-term instability instead of short-term uncertainty, everything changes. Liquidity is already being withdrawn across multiple layers of the financial system. This is no longer about positioning alone - it is about the systemic stress. When one node breaks, it does not stay contained. It collapses EVERYTHING. I have spent decades studying macro cycles, liquidity flows, and systemic market reactions like this. That's how I knew Bitcoin would top out in October 2025 and called the $126K top. When the next move becomes clear, I will share it here first. Follow and turn notifications on. By the time mainstream media starts reporting it, it's already too late.

I closed 3 major deals as a result of an event I attended last year 😌 It’s one thing to attend a high profile event in your niche, take pictures and show you were there, it’s a totally different thing from being able to close deals, or for that event to have a positive life changing impact on your career. September last year, I attended the Africa Money & DeFi Summit - Accra Sept 24&25 2025 and thanks to the event, i met a lot of thought leaders in the industry (Web2 and Web3 incisive). I was opportune to be a speaker at that event, and while I made the most off my 20mins on that stage, I even got more opportunities during the 15hours I spent outside the stage. This same event will be happening 3rd & 4th of October this year, and I realized some people from here will also be attending. Here are some tips I followed that helped me yield good results from attending the event. These tips can also be applied to other tech events. ————— 1. Research and Plan Ahead: I was able to familiarize myself with the event schedule, speakers and exhibitors. Africa Money & DeFi Summit - Accra Sept 24&25 2025 always share this info with everyone who registers for the event at least 1week before the event. Thanks to this, I was able to check out some of the speakers on LinkedIn, and even scheduled meetings with a lot of them before hand. ————— 2. Network Strategically: Prepare your elevator pitch, and also have your business cards ready. For every person that reached out to me, or people I reached out to during the event, I was able to hold conversations with genuine interest in their work and was always willing to share what I do. ————— 3. Stay Informed: Keep up-to-date with industry news and trends. This always help when you engage in meaning discussions with fellow attendees. As you can see on the short clip attached to this tweet, I was talking about Real Yield, and this was just before it officially became a buzz in the DeFi Space. I used the info as well as others to helped lock down conversations. ————— 4. Dress Appropriately: Always aim for professional attire for events like these. People who attend these events come there to do business, so you’ll always find them dressed professionally. The 2 images I attached to this post are from the 2days of the event, I’m sure you can see how professionally dressed I was. It’s better to be slightly overdressed than underdressed. ————— 5. Engage in Q&A Sessions: Don’t hesitate to ask questions during talks or presentations. It demonstrates your interest and can lead to insightful discussions. By insightful discussions, I mean discussions after the session or even after the event. Conversations can easily start as a result of the question you asked, so take a chance on it. ————— To keep this tweet short, I’ll be stopping here but will drop my other tips as a part 2 for this. If you learnt something from the above tips, or saw one you’d like to implement on your next event, do well to tell me on the comment section 👇🏽 Don’t forget to Like 💙and Repost 🔄this post, someone from your audience might need it. The most undervalued skill for founders: Delegation. It helps you scale your business and maximize output while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Here's how I work just 20 hours/week (and make $1.2M/month): 1. Create a Job Description in a Google Doc Describe how your ideal candidate will perform. Include: • The role overview • What they will be doing • What skills they need to have • Why they will love working with you 2. Create Their Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) Ask yourself: What does success look like for this person in the first 90 days? I use the SMART goals framework: • Specific • Measurable • Achievable • Relevant • Time-Bound Here are some of the actual SMART goals I set with my assistant: - Schedule 10 social posts to go out every day - Schedule 50 sales meetings a week - Generate $30k of sales per month 3. Create an Onboarding System The hardest part of having a good working relationship with a Growth Assistant is onboarding them. The hack: Create a Google Sheet with all onboarding tasks in these columns: • Systems • Department • Documentation • Loom Video • Owner 4. Build a Notion Company Wiki A Company Wiki is where all of your key documents and systems live. You want to reduce the number of times you get basic questions: "What are our brand guidelines?" "Where are our logos?" 5. Improve Your Systems via Feedback Your Loom videos and systems are never set in stone. Set up a weekly meeting to refine all your processes and eliminate confusion. Agenda: • What's going well? • What's not going well? • What can we improve? 6. Take Pride in Your Systems "You do not rise to the level of your goals. You fall to the level of your systems." - James Clear Your systems are the engine that keeps your entire operation working. Keep them updated monthly and delete/re-evaluate tasks that aren't effective. 7. Work with a Hiring Partner If it's your first time hiring a Growth Assistant you need to get help. You're going to waste a lot of time reviewing resumes and coordinating interviews. Working with a hiring partner solves all of that. They do all the interviews, background checks, and negotiations. I focus on the job description, objectives, and onboarding systems. I’ve shared the entire breakdown below. Check out the replies below if you prefer YouTube, Spotify, or Apple.

Canadian Lyme sufferers pushed to state euthanasia while the US steps up Lyme disease is surging across southeastern Ontario as black-legged ticks invade backyards, trails, and parks, driving a sharp rise in infections that health officials can no longer ignore. Caused by the bacteria Borrelia burgdorferi, Lyme disease often strikes with deceptive early symptoms or no symptoms at all. This includes fatigue, fever, and the telltale bullseye rash, which sometimes doesn’t come until weeks or months later. Lyme is a stealthy, corkscrew-shaped spiral bacterium that drills deep into tissues, joints, and the nervous system, making it incredibly difficult to detect and hard to eradicate. Missed early treatment can lead to chronic, debilitating pain, inflammation, and long-term illness. This can be amplified by a lack of initial symptoms or pesky co-infections, including Babesia, Bartonella, Anaplasma, and Ehrlichia. Due to a high variability of symptoms, there aren’t necessarily textbook presentations, which can complicate diagnoses and treatment leading to more severe or atypical manifestations. In the United States, they’re confronting this epidemic head-on. HHS Secretary Kennedy announced concrete action to tackle Lyme, including a major multi-million-dollar tick control pilot, up to $2.5 million in Lyme innovation challenges, improved diagnostics, and a goal to reduce cases by 25% by 2035 relative to 2022 levels. Canada, meanwhile, remains in denial with outdated protocols. Patients to the North report being gaslit, offered limited treatment options, denied treatment altogether, or, in extreme cases, steered toward Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD) instead of meaningful care. Quebec resident Stephanie Lavoie gave up hope after nearly a decade of battling undiagnosed and untreated Lyme. She exhausted all of her options and finally turned to state-sanctioned euthanasia as a last resort to end her suffering. In British Columbia, Lance Tycolis endured Lyme and a controversial co-infection called Morgellons disease. It’s characterized by skin lesions that grow fibrous material. Scientist and Lyme disease researcher Marianne Middelveen linked these unusual skin lesions to Borrelia and other spirochetal infections, proving that the fibres are made up of keratin and collagen produced by the skin. Despite Middelveen’s microscopic proof, the mainstream medical establishment largely dismisses these lesions as a delusion and often prescribes antipsychotics instead of meaningful treatment. This institutional skepticism is especially concerning in Ontario, where serious conflicts of interest and narrow-minded policy have dominated the Lyme discussion. In 2021, the province’s Chief Medical Officer of Health, Dr. Kieran Moore, publicly declared that he was serving on Pfizer’s advisory board for their North American Lyme disease strategy — at the very same time he was helping shape Canada’s national Lyme Research Network. He is the same official now influencing public health policy in Canada while Pfizer and Valneva actively advance their Lyme disease vaccines through clinical trials. Adding fuel to the fire are the disturbing viral videos of farmers discovering strange boxes swarming with ticks in their fields. As a major global vaccine funder, Bill Gates has also heavily funded genetically modified tick research for livestock. Coupled with his investments in lab-grown meat, bug-based foods, and the alarming rise in alpha-gal syndrome — the tick-triggered allergy that can make people allergic to red meat and other animal products – the timing of all of this is suspiciously coincidental. Then there are the deeper, darker questions about where this disease actually came from. Declassified documents reviewed by the Malone Institute point to Cold War-era bioweapons experiments involving ticks at Plum Island, just miles from where Lyme was first identified in the 1970s. Willy Burgdorfer, the scientist credited with discovering the Borrelia spirochete, privately suggested there was far more to the story, including sidelined co-infections. Naturally, U.S. officials deny any connection, but the missing records and lingering gaps fuels skepticism about where this epidemic truly originated from. Meanwhile, Canada is still stuck in the medical dark ages. From the reliance on outdated two-tiered testing that misses the majority of cases, doctors routinely refuse longer antibiotic treatments that help rid the bacteria, and suffering Canadians are too often gaslit, dismissed, or offered MAiD instead of meaningful care. People are isolated, terrified, and abandoned by the very system that is supposed to uphold standards of care. Canadians would be well served by a similar RFK Jr. approach: independent research that actually puts patients first and focused efforts on treatments that work instead of pushing people toward assisted death or disregarding those suffering as delusional. Full transparency on Dr. Moore’s financial ties wouldn’t hurt either. REPORT by Tamara Ugolini 🇨🇦:

Everyone thinks losing weight is just about eating less. But most people: - Starve themselves - Kill their metabolism... And don´t even lose weight anyway. So here are 10 metabolism cheat codes to melt stubborn fat (without eating less): 🧵 1. Do NOT go Vegan. The vegan diet completely lacks 12 different nutrients that only exist in animal-based foods. These nutrients are vital for your metabolism and hormones. Steak and eggs are two of the best foods in the world for metabolism, weight loss and health. 2. Resistance train Muscle is the #1 fat-burning organ. It burns calories 24/7, even while you sleep. - Go close to failure - Train 3 hours a week - Focus on compound exercises 3. Eat more protein. You burn off 20-30% of the calories you get from protein just by digesting it. It also lowers hunger and helps maintain and build muscle to burn even more calories too. Eat 1g per lb of bodyweight everyday. 4. Don´t cut out carbs too much. Low-carb = lower thyroid and testosterone. You´ll also feel more sluggish which reduces your calorie-burn from NEAT. Eat as much fruit as you want and potatoes instead of bread and pasta. 5. Improve your sleep. Poor sleep crushes your metabolism. Think about how more physically tired you feel after a night of bad sleep. Don´t eat late in the evening, keep your bedroom cooler and supplement magnesium glycinate. 6. Cold exposure. It´s not a fad - it´s scientifically proven. It boosts your metabolism and activates brown fat oxidation. All you need to get the benefits is 2-minute cold showers 7. Manage stress. High cortisol slows your metabolism and makes your body want to hold onto fat. The best way to reduce stress? Improve your physical health. Healthy diet. Exercise. Better sleep. 8. Fuel your thyroid. It´s the organ that literally runs your metabolism but nobody thinks about it. Even worse? Very low-calorie diets actually slow it down making it even harder to lose fat. Make sure you: - Get enough iodine & selenium - Improve your sleep & manage stress. 9. Eat as much fruit as you want. Certain influencers will claim that fruit is bad due to the sugar... As if people are overweight due to eating a lot of fruit... But nobody got fat from fruit. It was from a ton of calories from processed junk and a lack of exercise. Fruit is still low in calories as it´s mostly water and the sugar and vitamins help keep you healthy and your metabolism firing. The best fruits for metabolism and weight loss are berries and watermelon. The Bottom Line: The best way to lose weight is NOT eating way less. It´s boosting your metabolism so you can eat enough and still lose weight. Imagine how easy it would be to lose weight if you could eat a lot and not be too hungry? If you liked this post: 1. Agnes Varda on 'Cléo from 5 to 7' (1962): "Interviewer: What’s strange is that you’ve chosen to express this through a character who seems to embody the absolute opposite of anguish: a beautiful, frivolous popular singer whose every moment might seem imbued with grace and joy, yet whose terrible vulnerability you’ve revealed so abruptly. Agnès Varda: I needed a somewhat frivolous character to highlight this sudden transition from coquettishness to anxiety. The film is principally the story of the growing awareness of an internal evolution and that’s why chronology is so important. I absolutely had to show the difference and contrasts between objective time and the subjective time experienced by the character. In the cinema we don’t believe in objective time; the time of the cinema is fictional, outside of real time. In any case there is no “reality” of time. So the film is divided into chapters, slices of time that mark contractions and distentions of time. Five minutes can seem to last an hour at a given moment of existence. For someone who knows she has only one or two months to live, the rhythm of life changes completely. There is in my film a “minute of truth”: it’s the scene in the song that suddenly crystallizes this fear and this sense of the fragility of things that Cléo has been bottling up inside of her and which suddenly and violently burst out of her. She tears off her wig as if it were a mask...From this moment on, her anguish leads her to discover others and the people she discovers mirror back the image of her anguish. Interviewer: The fear of death plays the role here of truth teller even though it’s difficult to admit at first that this stunning beauty is but a dead woman allowed but a brief stay of execution. Agnes Varda: But we’re all surrounded by the dead! There are people who live with the idea of death, who have in some way prepared for it. Cléo, on the other hand had never thought of it before, and her idea of death is of a strange and violent enemy. The contrast is all the more brutal since she’s so beautiful, so vigorous, and so apparently healthy. You can imagine her posing for Renoir. And suddenly her beauty and good health come face to face with a notion of Death who attacks her body and penetrates her entire being. She thought she was the center of the world and suddenly she’s lost her footing. It’s a well-known story: the discovery of solitude and of the need for others. This hidden malady makes her feel suddenly open, cut off from all her familiar ways of doing things and from then on, she becomes progressively naked, stripped of everything. She takes leave of herself, and gradually tears away her masks. So it’s this kind of detachment (literally!), this discovery of herself that seemed to me so exciting to portray. And also this new way of seeing the world." (Agnes Varda, in her interview with Michel Capdenac, 1962)
