So basically Met Eireann uses an objective measurement based system whereas the Met Office subjectively assess what they think the ‘impact’ will be. I know which one I would rather rely on.

💯 Trump, the backbone of America. 💪 Getting this country back in shape. ⚡ Shirts that hit like lightning:

Any chance you could delay this to Sunday afternoon so the Down folk can get their annual wash?

It should be a joint approach, especially for people moving between different provinces.

We don’t let storms over the border, Barra.

Red Weather Warnings in Ireland permit schools, colleges and public transport to close for the day.

But, but….ULSTER!!!

The Met Eireann forecast by its nature includes a certainty criteria (?). So the threshold concept includes probability (?). So I don't understand the difference in the systems. Is the met office ensemble based whilst Met Eireann's isn't? UKMET considers this "low likelihood"

I can’t really explain it any better than what I have done in the video above

@Damienbarry9 please watch.

No no Barra it’s the massive walls around NI they are weather proof 😂😂😂😂
