Storm-following loops of the dramatic upscale growth of a line of storms in western ND that would go on to become an extreme high-end squall line and wake low/sting jet that produced numerous wind reports over 100 MPH last night. Some strong tornadoes can be seen in the loop but this focuses on the squall's lifecycle and progression. Included a reflectivity only version just in case the dual panel loop gets too cooked by Twitter's algorithm.

6/3/26 5:44 PM Tonight is the 46 year anniversary of the "Night of the Twisters". One supercell storm produced 7 tornadoes over the city of Grand Island in a 2 hour span. One of the most unique meteorological events on record.

Work has begun on my breakdown of the April 27, 2026, Moderate Risk severe weather event across the Midwest and Mid-South. Forecasts called for numerous supercells with intense, long-track tornadoes, particularly in the open warm sector, but this did not materialize, as warm sector supercells failed to sustain. Of the ~22 tornadoes that occurred from the afternoon of the 27th into the morning of the 28th, all were weak and most were short-lived. In this video, we'll discuss the meteorology behind the event, including several reasons why the event significantly underperformed in the tornado department. Stay tuned!

slowly going to be posting a bunch of video clips from the Minnesota tornadoes today - this tornado occurred northeast of Motley, Minnesota around 4:20-4:30pm - we saw about 4 or 5 separate tornadoes in the Minnesota target area today with the first being at 2:08pm near Battle Lake, Minnesota - so many videos coming … also though … holy shit Nebraska 😅

YEMEN UAP Three pieces of “debris” (identical IR signatures) appear to emerge from the object *in succession.* That is inconsistent with a kinetic strike ripping debris off of an object. It’s almost like they were inside the UAP and emerged one-by-one.

⛈️ The storm I witnessed yesterday near Clarendon, Texas, is hands down one of the most incredible ones I’ve ever seen! Those bright blue bands were so vibrant. I haven’t seen such bright blue banding like that since a hail storm in Iowa in 2022. The blue hues are caused by the scattering of sunlight by ice crystals and water droplets high in the storm clouds, especially during the “golden hour” when the sun’s angle enhances those vibrant colors. I’d trade nearly any tornado I’ve seen in the past two years for this—honestly, I could care less about tornadoes. I just want to see the coolest or most interesting thing out there.
