STORY TIME! Posting this from the gate; our flight is delayed 😎

Just rewatched this and I misspoke; meant to say I was diagnosed w cancer the morning before the day I had my baby (about 15 hrs before I went into labor) but the rest of this stream-of-consciousness rant was flawless 🙏

UPDATE: We made it but one of our bags is missing. We don’t remember whose stuff is in it but someone in this photo is here with nothing; stay tuned to see who! (@Delta pls send it to my dad’s house ASAP or my husband is never going to come to Detroit again 😞)

For those asking: Cheens is safe and sound in New York; I lost the battle on taking a 12-hour road trip with the baby so we could bring him but we lowkey prolly woulda be better off 😂

UPDATE: We are missing a bag with Cam’s clothes and the baby’s formula & formula machine 😞

UPDATE FOR THOSE ASKING: Cam’s bag *had* been in Detroit with all of the others, but for some unknown reason, someone decided to randomly send that bag — and only that bag — to New Jersey. After finding it there, Delta then flew it from NJ back to Detroit, and then put it in a cab to my dad’s house. It just arrived on the doorstep. Before its arrival, Cam had been wearing an assortment of locally sourced clothing, including a Lion’s windbreaker he bought at Target.

Here’s the sad part. You could drive there faster..

It's only a 10 hour drive to Detroit from New York city. Would have been cheaper and faster to rent a car and drive and no weight limits, dogs travel anytime free. Stop wherever or whenever you need to. I like flying but I'd rather drive.....

Oh geez! Your story is WHY I dont want to fly anywhere! You will get to Detroit, you will! Your sanity might still be in Newark or LaGuardia or some other such place, but don’t worry, it will be on the next flight out!

Delta was the only ones that wld fly my late husband home with oxygen so he cld have heart surgery . We were going to have to finance a private flight when thy came thru for us. Cldnt drive, too far between hospitals.

I think we need to rename Murphy’s Law to Timpf’s Law.

We’ve learned our lesson…AirTags in every suitcase and carryon, etc. Lifesaver! Forgot we had done this when our bags didn’t make it to Iceland with us in August. But we could track it once it was on a flight and then at the airport. Great on Dog collars too.
