The moment he cuffed her, over a civil matter, the COP lost the lawsuit!! If she was not breaking the law, he had zero right to cuff her. None. The bank, cannot refuse her money, period. But, they pull this crap all the time!!

Generally you need to give any bank 24 hrs notice when you want to withdraw large sum of money. Its also a security check to make sure the customer is not under any duress. This women is classic racist. Any excuse to draw attention to her skin colour.

Do you understand what banks are doing right now? $5,000 is NOT a lot of money to take out of the bank. I've worked in banking 30 years. What happened to her is not normal and it is enraging. Going through it with USAA right now.

This isnt about Race. It's about civility. She didn't have proper ID. Banks are fiduciaries and are obligated to protect your $. Happened to me. No yelling. Remained calm. Explained closing on house need cash now. Branch manager contacted district manager. 30-minutes later... got cash. Now my *experience* may have been unusual. However, I do know this: Nobody wants to *help you* if you start yelling and screaming. That is all.

Police Officer is racist, no question. Yelling does not harm anyone. A person should be able to yell when they are upset in a democratic country, without being arrested and treated like proprty. Cop is a liar too. I hope she sues the bank and the police.

Bank of America did the same exact thing to me!! I’m white. Color don’t matter. They refused to give me my money for no reason at all. Then I got mad and decided I wanted to close my account so they called cops and had me removed.

Um, the bank was in the wrong. Give her money. No one would be happy in this situation. Stop using banks. They have made slaves of us all.
