Ennul Aayiram didn’t surprise me because I’m prepared for the ending!!Strange coincidences and rather ridiculous accidents distort the natural course of events. What hurts me more is that there is no need to end shruti yugal suddenly, instead she could have been used to set up an intense triangular conflict between her, Maha and marina. It would have been a family drama atleast for some time. A very good chance was easily let off there. There’s not even a bit of hint or clarity about the accident to Shruti. What happened and who did it. Screenplay at that particular scene was lackadaisical. Marina’s innocence and Vincent’s ego standout overall. Debutant Krishnakumar efforts are commendable to some extent but the only minus is that he is hellbent on ending some characters in a silly way. Maha showcased his dancing and fighting here and there.
