This movie flopped so hard people think it’s a fever dream but the Bog King is genuinely one of the best love interests in any animated film and I will die on this hill

// Just to let y'all know- No, the blonde fairy isn't the love interest. She's been accidentally put under a love spell, & the scary guy (the Bog King) actually later falls in love with her older sister, the main character. I enjoyed the movie but it's def not for everyone lol

He thinks himself too ugly for true love, even though he's got handsome face, and bright blue eyes, and is tall as fuck, and sings like god damn Alan Cumming

People keep calling this a bad movie but it's not. It's a very interesting and educational twist on the Beauty and the Beast trope, and it just happens to be a jukebox musical. The problem is that people hyped it now than they should and forgot it was a literal children's movie
