i'm gonna be an old man who solves subd topology puzzles instead of word searches 1. start off with a quad sphere, low subdivisions. 2. select all verts and bevel. subdivide the faces once. 3. select new faces and circularize. Inset and then delete faces. 4. makes sure the verts connect properly. 5. create another quad sphere, higher subdivisions and shrinkwrap the original to the new. 6. add subdiv, cast and solidify modifiers.

I tested GLM 5.2 on three real builds. A horror house game. A 3D stealth game. A Remotion marketing video. The results are exactly what I expect from Chinese open source coding models right now. The horror house has broken game logic. Collect all three keys, complete the objective, and the front door still won't open. The stealth game shipped with lighting so dark you can't see your own character. The Remotion video is rough. GLM 5.2 is faster than 5.1 and 10x cheaper than the frontier. But Opus 4.8 and GPT 5.5 are still in a different league for serious coding work. Chinese models keep missing the attention to detail that matters. I MISS FABLE 5 ALREADY. Full review live now.

Ubisoft redemption arc. Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced is looking fantastic. Like a return to the old Ubisoft before all the BS that destroyed the studio. I have to say this makes we want to play the game. Some details: - Remake with anvil engine. - Upgraded combat - New content: new quests, characters and story - No multiplayer mode, focused on Edward's Caribbean story. A lot of original devs returned to help make this. Up for preorder now. Ubisoft really lost their way, culminating in the scuttling of the company and spinning of the best IPs to a new Tencent invested entity. Gotta say it's looking like they are starting to make the right moves.

Not sure how to feel about this?! My original case design for the SRV #1 Strat has been copied and now being mass produced as knock off Chinese plastic tat!!! Every case I make is built around quality, real wood, hand cut & sanded to feel right in the hand. Finished with genuine nitro paints and varnishes, aged and checked like a true vintage instrument. Every case is crafted to have the feel of a real guitar and takes around 3/4 days to complete! Can this level of quality be created with a 3D plastic printer?
