This shift manager at McDonald’s told this employee to clock out and go home. He’s upset and wants to know why. She told him to clean the lobby and she said it took him two hours, which was way too long. She said he was on his phone and another manager and herself both told him to get off his phone. Chipotle announced they were having a buy one get one free deal between 3p-4p for a day. People started lining p around 2:00 to participate in the promotion. At about 2:40pm the manager at the Bronx chipotle shut down the store and did not open again until 4p. The manager then told the people who have been waiting in line for 2 hours that the promotion was over and they were not doing the buy one get one deal. What’s messed up is they knew they weren’t going to participate yet they did not tell anyone nor did they have a sign saying they weren’t doing it either. Since the kids have been waiting there patiently, shouldn’t they honor it anyways?
