Street Fighter 6 Meta is developing nicely, drive rush carries enough risk to make players think twice before carelessly doing it in neutral. As demonstrated here I showcase how to punish drive rush at the highest level. When you punish it once they won't try drive rush anymore.

You respect the drive rush to manage risk reward, but that gives her a strike throw mix that lands you into the corner. The match is basically decided on drive rush getting checked or not. It's just ...ugh.

Learning How Leshar's Akuma Uses Drive Gauge to Gain Stage Position One thing I've noticed is that when Leshar has plenty of Drive Gauge, he often confirms into Drive Rush to carry the opponent toward the corner. On the other hand, when his Drive Gauge drops to around four bars or less, he tends to conserve meter by confirming into Medium Gohado or Light Gohado instead, such as: hit confirm → Medium Gohado hit confirm → Light Gohado He also uses raw Drive Rush frequently to spend small amounts of Drive Gauge while steadily gaining stage position. By pushing the opponent into the corner this way, he can save Drive Gauge for strong corner sequences, such as pressure with OD Gohado, to build both chip damage and overall reward. 0:00- He usually follows Light or charged Gohado with Drive Rush, using Drive Rush normals to continue pressure and push the opponent toward the corner. He also frequently mixes in throws, and isn't afraid to use raw Drive Rush during neutral or okizeme. 0:05- Uses raw Drive Rush. In the replay take over I show if Terry doesn't drive rush I successfully Comet over his fireball, not allowing him to get in for free and force guesses in the corner. This is a flaw of the system and not a player strategy flaw. Some suggested the screen freeze should store your input and allow it to come out after screen freeze, and I agree with that. At this point we're losing to the input system and I need to spread awareness, this is ridiculous.

In certain parts of Alberta, this is a common sight. It's still surprising to me that these mining dump trucks are the size that they are! Experienced drivers will pull off to the side of the road when they see one of these being delivered to its destination. Why don't they drive it you ask, instead of hauling it via flatbed? In a word, cost. I did the math in the comments! How much cheaper do you think it is to haul the dump than it would be to drive it? Want to make a guess?

This is so broken: after a knockdown Alex can fake strike / throw pressure but instead do a tactical hop over the opponent. If they wake up parry you’ll jump behind them (their back will be to you ) & you can EX Power Bomb them before the parry ends. Why this is so good: -The Power Bomb Punish Counters & does 3450 Damage - if you cancel it into LVL 2 Super it does 5130 Damage (Gief’s LVL 3 CA PC does 5300 💀) - This setup also makes EX DPs, supers, DI and Drive Reversal whiff (and give you the opponent’s back) - if they hold parry they can probably react Drive Rush but they might still not be able to get away #SF6 #SF6_ALEX #StreetFighter6 #スト6

Alright its time we address this issue in Street Fighter 6. When a player rage quits or the system disconnects, they punish the winner by deducting points. This game has been out for three years and their system still can't detect which player to punish for a disconnect. I clearly won by the concluding K.O. screen but the system isn't robust enough to count that as a win. Principle matters here, this completely discourages players from trying to hit personal goals.
