He was a beast. Dominated everyone he was up against. It felt like he was on drugs. Even his quality on the ball was top. I remember that pass to salah V Southampton and the two crosses to mane V Chelsea and city. Too many to mention.

Not that season but this against Diego Costa was awesome.

His leadership was really evident when there were no crowds and his was the voice you heard over everyone else’s, organising, motivating. I’ll never understand the hate he gets from our own fans, but for me he’s up there with the best.

This form is no where compared to when we almost won the league during Rogers Man was injured for few games & we lost the league
