I have never seen the press fail,,, but I also have never seen prince ruperts drop legitimately break… Incredible and astonishing structure For those that don’t know, prince ruperts drop it just a molten drop of glass into a bucket of water,,, and becomes apparently indestructible,,, but you see the long thread like strand of glass,,, snip it anywhere and the entire drop vaporizers into dust practically,,, also extremely sensitive to vibration which breaks that thin strand which breaks the whole drop…
