#Strictly #StrictlyComeDancing Watching Cach's Quickstep last night for the 2nd time and I immidiately think of Lewis Cope from last year and the feedback he received at the start of the series. 👀 Remember when Shirley called Lewis's V.Waltz to Lose Control by Teddy Swims "Too aggressive" - He...

Cach needs to be completely stripped back to strictly ballroom/latin. He needed a more seasoned professional. He needs a strict teacher like Katya. Because he’s a potential winner, and I worry he’ll slip through the net.

I don't doubt she's a good professional but it's not a great first impression at all when you're left wondering if the pro dancer actually knows what a dance is meant to look like. She's got her work cut out for her but it's only week 1 though

It was a lot and very distracting but the blame should be on the proffesional not the celeb ultimately it’s her call what stays in the dance.

Reminds me of Layton , he often didnt do the pure dance style but more a dance with a nod to whichever dance it was . Think one of judges called it a Laytonised version when they finally commented near end of series

She decided to add that part in just to switch it up, but it backfired, in a way Craig is right. It's your first strictly dance, their judging you on if you can do the basic steps of the dance, not what you can bring to the dance. You could tell Craig was pissed off.

Yes Cach went on about not having Latin/ballroom experience and having just done videos, why show examples of his video dancing if he wants to be seen like a blank sheet?

This could have been used for Couple's choice. Think it was a bad move to go off script on day 1. Will stick in their heads

It’s cause all these fancy competitors have never taught plus looked at the IDTA technique book. A few of them have. But you can tell Maddie hasn’t.

It’s a consistent issue that they have never addressed but keeps happening. Every week the pro’s should be given a rule sheet for their choreo. I.e you must have 50 seconds of your dance in hold if it’s ballroom, you can have a max of 3 lifts etc. idk why they don’t address it

Strictly needs to go back to basics and even the pro dances. It’s not a freestyle show. It’s specifically where they learn ballroom or Latin

It’s a tv show. A bit of controversy and out of rules dancing is very likely be encouraged early on. It’s not as if Cach will be placed at risk by this.

This show is well and truly past it's sell by date. I used to love it but the last five yrs it's become rocked with scandals, cheating allegations, abuse allegations and honestly is plain boring now 😴 I gave it one last chance now I'm switching off forever!

#mewnich #beonnnie MEWNICH : Let's talk about EmiBonnie. This year, I feel like... oh, this year, I got to be in the same songs as Bonnie A LOT! Both the vocal songs, the uke stage, and also Genie. So I feel like I've become much closer to Bonnie. I don't know if Bonnie also feels closer to me too, but I definitely feel a lot closer to her. And honestly, like, as many people already know, during the time we were practicing for the BB concert, Bonnie had so much work. Work was just piling up on her heavily, and she was in so many dance units, she was in Meri too. So... everyone was trying to help Bonnie as much as we could. MEWNICH : For example, in the uke song, I memorized her parts for her. Like, I literally guided her through the movements. Meaning, "It's okay, come with me, I'll tell you what to do. I'll guide you and point out where you need to go for the next part, Bonnie" Because I felt like I wanted to help her as much as possible. She might not have had as much time as the others, but she had to survive and make it through this with us. And luckily, in that uke song, she was standing next to me quite often, right? So I told the choreographers, "It's okay, Teacher. You can continue with the choreo and the blocking. I'll help memorize Bonnie's parts." So the moment she arrived, I could guide her through the steps right away, and I would constantly keep telling her what to do. Honestly, I'm really glad that I could be a part of helping Bonnie get through this show. And we've gotten to talk to each other so much more.

When I am at the gym and I see somebody’s water bottle there or a towel or something. I know they just stepped away for a moment and that the machine is occupied. Out of respect I won’t move it out of the way only for them to come back and have to explain themselves anyways. This young lady on the machine left her water bottle on it because she stepped away for a moment to use the restroom only for somebody else to come by and try to use it in her place. Would you have understood the etiquette or is it just a free for all? When I first started working out I was unfamiliar with the gym etiquette. Some people just got done with a hard set and need to stand up and walk for a few moneys or get a drink of water and they use it as their rest period so that they can go back at it. Interrupting that process is the same thing as booting them off the machine mid workout. It’s rude and uncalled for but why does it keep happening? I think what it is, is that some people are very judgmental, they see others and think that they are more serious about working out than the other person so that to them it means they are entitled to use it first because their workouts are more important. I used to let them do that to me but no more. I treat it as first come first serve, if they don’t want to wait then maybe they need to avoid the gym during peak hours. This is the very reason I work out in the middle of the night most of the time. I rather not be bothered and if I need to take my time I can, most of the time nobody else is even there anyways when I go.

I love getting to know Secretary Rubio like this! Katie Miller asked him two questions: 1. Who do you think is the funniest in the whole cabinet? 2. Who’s your best friend in the administration? 1. First answer: "There’s I think there’s three finalists. I have to say three. So I think the VP is funny. Everybody’s got their own style. And I think the VP can be very funny. I think Bessent in his own way can be very funny. And I mean in his own way. He’s got a different type of way of presentation. And I think Bobby Kennedy is very funny. Bobby has some of the greatest stories you’ll ever hear. It’s unbelievable stories that he’ll tell and you listen to these stories. They’re like that didn’t really happen. Oh, no, but it did. The guy has lived an extraordinary life. Like I was, how is this not a movie? I mean it can’t even be a movie. It would have to be a miniseries because he has so many incredible stories and many of them are not just funny because they happen, but they’re just fascinating to me. But he can be funny too." 😂 2. Second answer: "So the best way to answer that question, I have a lot of people. So I’ve known JD the longest of anybody that’s on there because he was in there. He was in the Senate with me. But I even knew him before he was a senator and we had interacted on some policy stuff. And then the people I work with the closest on a daily basis because I just see them all the time repeatedly as you know, Pete Hegseth, obviously Scott Bessent we deal with a lot, and John Ratcliffe. That group and that team is constantly interacting with one another as well. So these are the people I’m the closest to because we work with the most." Secretary Rubio has a special type of personality, I love it!
