#Strictly #StrictlyComeDancing Watching Cach's Quickstep last night for the 2nd time and I immidiately think of Lewis Cope from last year and the feedback he received at the start of the series. 👀 Remember when Shirley called Lewis's V.Waltz to Lose Control by Teddy Swims "Too aggressive" - He... then came back a few weeks later with another ballroom dance and was much calmer and more refined. I think we'll get a similar journey with Cach. I feel sorry for him because Choreo isn't his issue and the fault lies with the pro - I remember when Karen Hauer got penalised by Craig in her first year with Nicky Byrne for putting an "Illegal lift" in a Rumba - it happens and new pros can make mistakes in their choreo first time around but we learn to love them as the series progresess. I can't wait for Maddie's interview with Ellie Taylor on Tuesday's #ItTakesTwo so we can learn a lot more about her including how she choreographs and her style etc. We all took Alexis and Julian to our hearts last year and I think the same will happen with both Mark and Maddie they just need more time. 💫 The potential is there in abundance and Cach is definitely a Latin boy so I can't wait to see his first Latin dance next week. I predicted this pairing before the launch show so I'll be backing them all the way.show more

Cach needs to be completely stripped back to strictly ballroom/latin. He needed a more seasoned professional. He needs a strict teacher like Katya. Because he’s a potential winner, and I worry he’ll slip through the net.

I don't doubt she's a good professional but it's not a great first impression at all when you're left wondering if the pro dancer actually knows what a dance is meant to look like. She's got her work cut out for her but it's only week 1 though

It was a lot and very distracting but the blame should be on the proffesional not the celeb ultimately it’s her call what stays in the dance.

Reminds me of Layton , he often didnt do the pure dance style but more a dance with a nod to whichever dance it was . Think one of judges called it a Laytonised version when they finally commented near end of series

She decided to add that part in just to switch it up, but it backfired, in a way Craig is right. It's your first strictly dance, their judging you on if you can do the basic steps of the dance, not what you can bring to the dance. You could tell Craig was pissed off.

He needs reigning in she needs to be a lot stricter with him and not just go with the flow

Yes Cach went on about not having Latin/ballroom experience and having just done videos, why show examples of his video dancing if he wants to be seen like a blank sheet?

This could have been used for Couple's choice. Think it was a bad move to go off script on day 1. Will stick in their heads

It’s cause all these fancy competitors have never taught plus looked at the IDTA technique book. A few of them have. But you can tell Maddie hasn’t.

It’s a consistent issue that they have never addressed but keeps happening. Every week the pro’s should be given a rule sheet for their choreo. I.e you must have 50 seconds of your dance in hold if it’s ballroom, you can have a max of 3 lifts etc. idk why they don’t address it

Strictly needs to go back to basics and even the pro dances. It’s not a freestyle show. It’s specifically where they learn ballroom or Latin

It’s a tv show. A bit of controversy and out of rules dancing is very likely be encouraged early on. It’s not as if Cach will be placed at risk by this.

This show is well and truly past it's sell by date. I used to love it but the last five yrs it's become rocked with scandals, cheating allegations, abuse allegations and honestly is plain boring now 😴 I gave it one last chance now I'm switching off forever!
