Strider (PC / PS3|4 / Xbox 360|One, Double Helix / Capcom, 2014)

I’ve shipped over 100 games in my 40 years and this one is still one of my favorites. I should probably do a second at some point.

Fun game to platinum Its a shame Capcom hasn’t done anything ever since with the Strider IP

Painfully underrated gem

Absolutely fantastic game. They perfectly nailed that power fantasy that Strider first delivered back in the 90s. The magnetic blade slash that comes back to you is still one of my favorite attacks in the genre.

Stridervania went so much harder than anyone could've expected it to. I recently double dipped to have this on PC

I had my son playing that game at 4 years old. Hes been a Strider fan ever since

2025 was year of the ninja. I was hoping Strider would join Shinobi and Ninja Gaiden with a new game, but Capcom disagreed I guess...
