Strong families create strong communities. We’re taking bold steps to support families by easing a financial burden on new mothers - the cost of diapers. Starting tomorrow, this first-in-the-nation program will cover the cost of diapers for children under 2 on TennCare.

Through responsible management of our TennCare program & the shared savings model, these resources will be provided at no additional cost to Tennesseans. Together, we’ll strengthen families & create a brighter future. Read more here:

How about removing illegals from our state so that these people can get to work and pay for their own diapers. You are just giving people fish when you’re supposed to be teaching people to fish.

I'm very confused by this. Instead of finding innovative ways to lower diaper costs or stimulate the economy, you decide to give free diapers away at tax payer expense. All this will do is increase diaper costs. Seems like a very SOCIALIST thing to do to me. 💁♂️

But not expanding Medicaid for the most vulnerable new mothers in a forced-birth state. Just give them crumbs…

Stop giving away tax payer money! Find ways to lower costs and make ways for families to be able to afford them. We don’t need daddy government. People need to make a way for themselves. More nonprofits can do that. Not the government!

@GiancarloSopo Coming from Argentina I need to say that this is a socialist desicion.

How about you cut taxes and overall government spending so that your citizens can afford such things in the first place

Dude, read the comments, the left wingers you are pandering to are all saying you are doing nothing and Republicans don't want to waste taxpayer money on lefties who don't have children anyway.

This is so stupid. How about, tax cuts for married families with children

More government? Is that for all the illegals you're letting in?
