How about removing illegals from our state so that these people can get to work and pay for their own diapers. You are just giving people fish when you’re supposed to be teaching people to fish.

I'm very confused by this. Instead of finding innovative ways to lower diaper costs or stimulate the economy, you decide to give free diapers away at tax payer expense. All this will do is increase diaper costs. Seems like a very SOCIALIST thing to do to me. 💁‍♂️

We're giving 400 diapers to new California families when they leave the hospital. And we're rolling out the program to those who need them the most first. As if the stresses of having a child weren't enough -- the cost of diapers has gone up 45% since the pandemic. Families skip meals to pay for diapers. We have rebuilt how government can support families and kids through increased paid leave, universal pre-k, child care, free school meals, student savings accounts and, now, by providing families with an essential first need.

The Sameer Project camps host around 117 families and one of them is the Batoul Camp that has around 27 vulnerable families. On June 15th, we distributed diapers and formula to those who need it for $217, including 11% commission. This included 6 packs of baby diapers and 5 adult diapers and 5 formula. Help here: The Batoul Camp will soon be closed and the families will join our other camps. This is due to lack of funds as donations dropped a lot recently. Even simple things like providing diapers and formula are not consistent due to the lack of support. Caring for 117 families with patients in a genocide is expensive and your contribution is needed. Donate now to the Refaat Alareer Campaign to help our camps: Other ways to donate include: (Paypal option, please make sure to add a message saying "Camp") (Venmo option, please make sure to add a message saying "Camp")
