Strong women don’t fall because they’re weak — they’re manipulated. Abuse works through emotional control, gaslighting, and exploiting trust over time. Empathy is used as a weapon. Strength is mistaken for tolerance. What looks like “why didn’t she leave?” is often survival under manipulation. What we witnessed was manipulation...

This thread is from a Mia Goth fan page run by women who witnessed her abusive relationship with abuser Shia LaBeouf. The same pattern appears to be repeating itself with Drina, a 32-year-old woman. Content warning: emotional abuse, intimidation. This thread exists to document a recurring pattern reported by several women, not to incite harassment. The material mentioned was shared with us by people directly involved. Over time, similar dynamics have been described in different relationships involving the abuser: emotional instability, intimidation, extremely abusive relationship, toxic behavior, and control during private interactions. We cannot forget when Mr. Abuser said, “I don’t want to hit a woman, but I’m being provoked.” Recently, we received videos documenting these same dynamics occurring again, this time involving Drina. We are stating that these videos prove the criminal behavior is repeating itself. When viewed in conjunction with previous public allegations, they reinforce a pattern that many have already recognized. During Mia Goth's relationship with her abuser, allegations of emotional abuse and coercive behavior were made public. What is being reported now is disturbingly consistent with those accounts. Patterns matter because abuse is rarely an isolated moment. It often manifests as repeated behaviors over time, with different partners and circumstances. We believe women when they speak up spontaneously, especially when their stories repeat themselves without any coordination. This series of tweets is not a verdict. It is a document, shared so that these patterns are not erased or ignored. Survivors deserve to be heard. Silence only perpetuates the cycle.

OUTSTANDING answer from Secretary Marco Rubio on the Iranian regime vs. the Iranian people: “[T]his regime is not — guys, I know I’ve said this — I think I said this in my hearing before the Senate when I got confirmed, I don’t know of any country in the world where there’s a bigger difference between the people and the people who run the country, okay? This country is run by radical Shia clerics, and that’s not what Iran and the Iranian people are. Now, they may be Shia, but they’re not radicals and they’re not clerics. And they just want a normal life and a regular life. And, in many ways, a very cosmopolitan country with a with an incredible history, incredible history, an incredible legacy and the like. So, there’s this huge divide between the people of Iran whom we sympathize with and who the President sympathize with, because they’re the ones suffering. Look, the world is a victim of Iran, okay? The world is a victim of Iran because they’re terrorists, because of what they’re doing now on the Straits. But the people of Iran are daily victims of the regime. And the president has deep sympathy for what they’re going through. And I think he’s just expressing that sympathy and that frustration that they don’t have the ability to do more to get rid of this regime that has crushed this country and isolated it from the world, which is a country that shouldn’t be isolated from the world because its people are phenomenal.”
