let's talk Shaykh - not a shaykh by any means but also a student of the maliki madhab from california / mauritania / egypt i haven't found the shart of physical presence to buy in the major books of fiqh and i think the ummah has a lot to lose by not (cautiously) engaging with crypto

With all due respect, there seems to be a misunderstanding of what a money is. Bitcoin provides two things that constitute it as a money Storing value Having it as a means of exchange. I don’t understand where the metric of physicality is from.

No one understands bitcoin in 5 minutes. This is what @saifedean says at the end of his introduction in TBC:
