Kejriwal made it a mission today to get them released - launched a helpline - met injured students at the hospital - went to seveal Police stations and got dozens of students released from detention - Now leaving for Jantar Mantar Every educated leader is standing with the students while Anpadhs are beating them and calling them Anti Nationals.

We’ve started a new academic year here at Hillsdale College. Students and their families arrived on campus, some for the first time, others returning for another year. A college exists for a serious and joyful purpose: to seek what is true, to understand what is good, and to learn how to live well. We are glad to have our students back and eager to begin this work together once again. It will be a good year.

Yesterday I was at the pent hall week on Legon campus to interact with students and also students who are selling products. Today is the last day and I will please urge each and everyone one of you to pass by to patronize them. You can change a students life by buying what they sell. Thanks so much. idey4u

Last night at UC Berkeley, Jewish students were threatened, assaulted, and prevented from attending a speech by a Jewish speaker on campus. Campus police shut down this private event when it became clear that they could not protect the students. Multiple students reported being spat on, screamed at, called derogatory names like "dirty Jew" or "you Jew," and physically assaulted by protestors. Jewish students deserve to navigate their lives without fear, and it is crucial that there are significant repercussions for those hindering this goal, including the responsible organizations and individuals. Ultimately, the UC Berkeley administration bears the responsibility of ensuring the safety of Jewish students on campus, a duty that was not fulfilled last night.

Muslims setup a booth at Wylie East High School in Texas “Qurans handed out at school — Islamic materials, including pamphlets on Sharia law were distributed on the campus” “Monday, an outside group called why Islam set up a table inside the school during lunch, handing out Qurans, pamphlets titled Understanding Sharia, and hijobs to female students” “Some have questioned how the group entered the building with boxes of materials and remained unmonitored near the cafeteria and front office. Others are accusing the district of enforcing stricter standards against Christian expression while allowing Islamic outreach” “The district said outside organizations are not permitted to distribute materials or interact with students without prior campus and district approval — which apparently occurred in this case”

Foreign students are flooding universities and Australian students are being forced to do group assignments with people who can’t speak English. In many cases, one or two students must do all the work for the entire group or risk receiving a fail result. The universities’ addiction to revenue from foreign students is putting the education of Australians at risk, and Labor has a plan to make it worse. It should be a simple requirement - if you arrive here to study, you must have a fluent level of English.

#WATCH | Delhi: Nasir Khuehami, National Convenor of the Jammu and Kashmir Students Association, says, "...This morning, we saw that after the conflict between Iran and Israel, in which Israeli forces attacked Iran, our citizens there, especially Indian students and Indian citizens who have studied and worked there for many years, are very worried... Their families, particularly those in the Kashmir Valley, are very frightened, anxious, and in distress. The number of students from the Kashmir Valley is the highest. There are around 3,000 Indian students, and among them, around 2,000 Kashmiri students... Still, our 1100-1200 students are there... They want us to evacuate them immediately... Today, we wrote a letter to PM Modi, in which we requested him to launch a full-fledged evacuation operation so that our stranded citizens can be evacuated immediately. The Government of India should open diplomatic channels and raise the issue with their counterparts..."

🚨 DePaul University fleeced American taxpayers for $223 MILLION in federal funding last year. There are 2,390 foreign students on F-1 visas. They’re 10-12% of the student body. President Robert L. Manuel’s total compensation is $1.18 million. Since taking the position in 2022, foreign enrollment at DePaul has risen 24%. At the end of the 2025 Fall/Winter semester, 658 of those foreign students were approved for OPT. Those graduating students will now be in our workforce, potentially up to 3 years. During those 3 years, students can apply for U.S. citizenship and may genuinely be fast tracked due to the fact that they have employment. 658 jobs that American students have had snatched away from them…in one semester.

A 19-year-old IIT Bombay student is dead after an exam incident involving a phone and ChatGPT, and now 400+ students are protesting on campus. IIT Bombay says he was counselled, assured there would be no academic consequences and faced no disciplinary action. Students allege he was threatened with suspension; his parents allege harassment and caste discrimination. Those claims need investigation, but the contradiction is stark: no disciplinary action, says the institute; fear of suspension, say students. And this is not an isolated campus story. At least six reported student suicides have occurred across IIT Bombay, Delhi and Kharagpur in roughly six months. We keep asking what happened to these students. Maybe we need to ask what happened around them. #iit #mumbai #iitbombay

One of the foreign students says, They've been offering Namaz in their block inside campus from the past few years after getting permission from the administration of Gujarat University. Who gives permission to Outsiders (Bajrang Dal members) to get inside the Hostel premises? Especially late in the night inside A-Block which is dedicated to International Students? Who are Bajrang Dal members to check on what students are doing inside their hostel block? Many RW supporters on social media are claiming that the students were offering Namaz in open public space without permission. No. These students were offering Taraweeh Namaz at around 10 PM inside the Hostel compound of A-Block which has 75 foreign students staying in the hostel. They claim that they have been offering Namaz during Ramzan for the past 2-3 years with permission from the university. Foreign students studying in Gujarat are part of Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) which is under MEA. Hope they MEA takes cognizance.

OAU transport system was near perfect, adequate buses and bikes, we rarely experienced queues until the First Lady came and decided she didn’t like the ease of transportation and introduced “change” by donating CNG buses. The school management in turn banned all motorcycles and commercial buses on campus and subjected over 30,000 students to just about 50 buses and a few tricycles. OAU has one of the largest land masses of any Nigerian university, yet students are now stranded daily. This is a Monday morning where students are supposed to rush for class, but they are stuck at the campus gate because of the inefficiency of the CNG buses. Students are struggling to go to class in the morning and in the evenings to even get back to their hostels. Students staying off campus now spend almost double to get to campus, all alternative transport means have been removed The management have cars to bypass all of this, but majority of students do not. Yet they released statements talking about how the buses will “ease transportation” and even implied students appreciate the system. Meanwhile, students are trekking, missing classes, and spending hours in queues. Let it be clear that students do not appreciate this system. It has made our lives harder, not better. What used to be a smooth system has now become a daily struggle. There are many pressing issues in this school, but they chose to dismantle a working transport system and replace it with hardship. We can no longer remain silent. Let the whole world know what OAU students are going through. Please if you come across this tweet, help us retweet it whether you are an OAU student or not We demand our towngboro buses and motorcycles back.
