Some students have ditched school to get of school. Most wouldn’t even know or care what the supposed cause is. Straight to Maccas with their mates afterwards. Not news.

Taking away their smartphones, laptops and e-scooters would be a good start.

Although I initially was against this I am on the belief now that it's good to engage students in real world issues . Good on them - it's their generation and future generations that will pay the cost not the boomers of today
