Students' demands are non-negotiable. First: The corrupt and incompetent Education Minister has to be sacked. 🔹There is some talk going on within the Modi government's Cabinet about moving Mr. Pradhan to another ministry. This is not acceptable to the students of India, and it is not acceptable to anybody. The reason is that Mr. Pradhan is a symbol of corruption and of what happened to India's children. He is the symbol of the destruction of the most valuable thing this country has: our students and their future. Dharmendra Pradhan has to be sacked. Period! Home Minister Amit Shah must state on the floor of the House whether the police repression unleashed against students was carried out at his direction. If it was not, he must tell Parliament whose orders were followed. In either case, he must resign. 2. ⁠Prime Minister Modi must apologise for the brutality unleashed against our students. 3. ⁠There must be a discussion on the floor of the House on Chanda Chori in the Ram Mandir Trust None of these demands is negotiable.
