So they should be among the fittest individuals in the country. If these frontline services are struggling with health and fitness, it’s a reflection of a wider national problem. An unhealthy population places a significant financial strain on Aasandha. Much of this is preventable. That’s why we need to have a serious conversation about it. We need a national survey to understand why so many people are facing health and weight issues. Is it cause of our dietary habits, like having curry every day? Is it due to limited space for physical activity? Are high rise buildings discouraging people from going out once they’re home? Or is it something to do with the ingredients we commonly use? Is it the oil that STO is selling? What is it? A chronically unhealthy workforce weakens national productivity and security.

I help street dogs and the most common question I get is… Why don’t you take them home or find them a home? The answer is because we feed about 800 at the moment. Poppy here is a really good example because I adore here and I thought I’d explain what she gets… ✂️ It took me 2 months to build up trust but I caught her and got her sterilized meaning no more suffering with puppies. 🩸 While getting that operation the vet discovered major complications (Pyometra) which was about to kill her. Luckily that’s all fixed up and her stitches came out this week. 👷🏽‍♂️ I found her a place with some migrant workers. They don’t own her but they tolerate her. Nothing bad will happen her there and she is safe from other dogs who were attacking her. 🛢️ We delivered her very own house. The locals are happy for her to live in it. She now has shelter and a safe place. 🥘 Poppy gets two wholesome home cooked meals per day delivered. 💊 She has preventative medicines to stop fleas and ticks 💉 She is up to date with all her shots 🥰 Although short she gets a little bit of love each day in passing which she has grown to enjoy. So this is the best solutions for as many dogs as I can do. It’s not perfect but it improves their lives massively and gives them a chance and some basics. All that only costs about $100 max. 🏡 I am always working on forever homes and have 5 getting their paperwork down ready to fly (Rodney, Hope, Lottie etc) but 800 dogs out there need instant solutions which is what these are. Quick wins for the dogs. It’s not perfect but it’s nice to know that Poppy is at least alive thanks to her operation, not suffering thanks to simple medicines and has shelter and is out of immediate danger. ✅

We talk about the Minnesota youth hockey model a lot, and so I get asked about it a lot. Why does Minnesota have not only the most players, but why do they develop the most elite players as well? One of the main reasons is that the path is simple to understand for players and families. You get into the game playing for your town, you play for your town all the way into high school, and then you go to junior/college hockey if you’re good enough. In so many other places, the path is confusing. Do I play town or club? When do I make the jump to AAA? Do I stay with the organization in my city or do I go to another club? What tier of hockey is right for my kid? The amount of options and decisions often leads to FOMO, confusion, decision fatigue, and a burnout for players and families. It also leads to a lot of jersey chasing and organization hopping rather than playing for something bigger than you, which is huge for a development of a love for the game. If we can simplify the path, tiers can work together rather than against each other, and create a model where families can better understand the path to help their kids achieve their dreams, our sport will grow and we will develop more elite players. Every one has psychic abilities. Yes, even you. While there are different degrees (and kinds) of spiritual abilities, everyone has intuition. For the most part, people’s intuition operates as a protective instinct. It is the feeling in your gut that tells you to take another route to work, or the strange dream that draws your attention to an unhealthy relationship in your life. Our Spirit is always guiding us. What differs between a mystic, or working psychic, and the average person is that the psychic lives more fully immersed in the spiritual world. This immersion happens by more direct development techniques, or by birth. After teaching psychic development for over 15 years, the biggest roadblock I encounter with beginners and veterans alike is trusting what is an actual message from Spirit, and what is their own inner voice. And, why this is so difficult is because your intuition uses your mind, or your inner world, as its tool, as its medium. In this way spiritual guidance initially sound like your own thoughts, it feels like your own emotions. Thus, Spirit most often speaks to you in your own voice, and, only once you begin to listen to, trust it, and most importantly live out its guidance, can you differentiate the voice of your angel, from that of your lower mind. No matter where you are in your life, you can develop your intuition to a finer point, and you can begin to perceive the spiritual world. Further, this development of spiritual perception is part of our evolution as human beings; it is the process in which we transform our materiality and are drawn back into the spiritual world. In this way, our ability to perceive the Holy Spirit is key in our journey to becoming like it. Finally, learning to engage consciously with the spiritual world around us is a key condition to developing the immortal body. Why? Because our immortal body is fundamentally a spiritual body, it will not exist in the material world once it is established. In this way, we are really just developing the senses and internal qualities of Spirit to reunite with it. To return to it. At its core psychic development is spiritual development, and, spiritual development is our conscious progression to immortality. I will be teaching a class September 14th at 3pm ET! It will focus on how to build a strong foundation for spiritual work, establishing and maintaining healthy attunement, and various issues regarding the professional level of psychic work. This class is great for beginners and professionals alike, however there will be an extra focus on developing a career in psychic work.

Just the way we have “blue ticks” and “verified badges” on social media, shouldn’t we have “verified tick marks” for restaurants on food delivery apps that are following top hygiene standards? Most Indians care a lot about the hygiene of the kitchens at home, but we don’t have any idea about the hygiene of kitchens we order from in the food delivery apps. Restaurants show us the most beautiful pictures of their food on the delivery apps, then why do we often get worms, plastic and metal pieces in our food? As consumers, we should keep try ordering from restaurants which have HACCP (food safety certification) and FSSAI (hygiene rating) certifications. I was happy to see food ordering platform, EatSure , share there actual pictures of their kitchen from their internal audits. This is a welcome step and I believe it should be mandatory for restaurants to not only share pictures of their food, but also share pictures of the kitchens. Today is Right to Information (RTI) Day. This RTI day, let’s demand the transparency and safety we deserve in our food choices! Happy Dussehra, and here’s to making informed decisions! #ConsciousCapitalism #EffectiveAltruism

I understand exactly what this little kitty is trying to tell me, but I pretended not to understand so I could show you just how smart and beautiful he is, and how much innocence and kindness his little soul carries. He is just like all his siblings, they simply want to live, just like our families do. They see in us, and in you, love, safety, and hope. But behind this innocence lies a story that cannot be seen. Every time he comes to us with such trust, we fear that one day we will have nothing left to offer them. What hurts us most is not only their hunger, but seeing those eyes, so full of trust, waiting for us while our hands are empty. That is why we are turning to your kind hearts again. You are the ones who have given these innocent souls a chance to live throughout this difficult time. Thanks to your kindness and generosity, they have never had to know what it feels like to be abandoned or forgiven. Today, however, as support has declined, our ability to continue depends on your willingness to stand with us once again.
