Rare Limited is a game studio located in the small village of Twycross.🇬🇧 Founded by Tim and Chris Stamper, ZX Spectrum devs (Knight Lore, Jetpac, Sabre Wulf). With acclaimed and influential games, Rare started by reverse-engineering a Nintendo Famicom (Nintendo said it was impossible) but the team did anyway, w/ techdemos shown to Minoru Arakawa in Kyoto. Impressed, Minoru grant a budget for them to do games for Nintendo systems and the rest is history.

We live in the solo founder era. That's for sure and building with AI has accelerated. I am building software to use for myself and replace the expensive tools I used to use. And partially thanks to AI we can build faster, but not dramatically faster if you want to build a commercial grade product. Before I was using a live chat and customer support tool that costed around 50-100$ a month. This helped me to interact with the customers of my agency or prospects. But I decided a few months ago to build my own and stop paying for these more expensive solutions. I did and turned into a product for everyone to use. The build was not 1-2 hours of work using AI, but it was a several-month process on and off as I needed it. Finally, it has turned into a commercial grade product. I have built several of these and this is when we will see more and more solutions like these. Let's start bootstrapping before showing MRR figures.

Yesterday was a big day for Intrepid. We hit the end of a significant development milestone, and are kicking off the next big chapter of our internal roadmap. We’ve flown our remote teams out to the studio for a week of planning and review, and we got to enjoy a wonderful day of festivities together. None of this would be possible without the fantastic culture we've cultivated at our studio. Our team is more than just colleagues; we're a family of absolute nerds united by a shared vision and boundless passion for the MMORPG genre.💪🎉❤️
