Watching the series, they were showing the parallels from the jump. Excellent execution of that montage for real.

It was beautifully shot. The whole team came together perfectly. Although I wasn’t a huge fan of the modern music tracks on the last episode I could accept it without issue.

The execution is insane. Those callbacks hit different when you see them side-by-side. This is why rewatches are mandatory for shows like this

It's crazy they're coming up with this stuff after only 6 episodes too

Writers set the tone, directors are backed by the money and get too much credit.. this concept is executed all the time when you're connecting two different protagonists within a connected arc. Developing similarities between two otherwise very different characters from very different backgrounds. The foundation is already there. The thought was already there. There are so many details in the writing that the director couldn't even fit into the story. A wealth of material. An embarrassment of riches. Shout out writers!

If you were doing this everyday you’d catch on. The story is about the passing on of what you learned to the next generation. It’s the story of the son taking after the father.

Thats why this show got so much praise. The storytelling, the little details... it was just...oerfect! Cant wait for S2

We don’t want cgi big bloody wars. GoT s1 didn’t have any one of them. Yet we loved it. So it goes for this show too. We want logic, emotion and ambition. What we don’t want is woke characters that fuck the entire plot
