The problem with Vivek's statement, however, is that this simply isn't true. There hasn't been $200 billion in US aid sent to Ukraine since the war began, like he claims, let alone $200 billion in unaccounted for aid. The vast majority of aid that is sent to Ukraine is accounted for and is in the form of tangible goods, not just a blank check. In fact, a huge percentage is military equipment that the US Government is paying US companies to manufacture in US towns. Truth matters here.

Israel *finally* decides to let aid flow through Gaza via the Israel/US backed “Gaza Humanitarian Foundation”. Except the “aid” was so lackluster and useless and the execution of the distribution of the aid was hindered so much so by Israel that the director of the organization quit out of frustration. What’s worse is that upon looking deeper into this organization, it looks like it was always just another way for Israel to expand its occupation by pretending to be a well meaning NGO.

Netanyahu attitude between the two press conferences is notable. I really believe he didn't know the US was going to take control of Gaza. He thought it would be given to Israel. Trump and Netanyahus relationship off-screen has always been tumultuous, to say the least.

We are committed to increasing the amount of humanitarian aid transferred daily into Gaza. The IDF is working closely with our partners at Ministry of Defense, COGAT and U.S. Central Command, we are preparing to receive a temporary floating pier and to organize the space for receiving humanitarian aid directly, in Gaza. The area of the project covers around 67 acres which are allocated for the operation and the passage of large amounts of goods to the field. The temporary floating pier, through which the humanitarian aid will be transferred, is being built by the U.S. and will be connected to the Gaza shore.
