Been seeing a lot of tweets and articles about how I claimed to do my own stunts for ‘The Rajasaab’ but a body double did it as there’s a photo circulating online of a stunt artist who was my stunt double on the film. Firstly, I do action because I really enjoy doing action. I’ve been a sporty girl since a young age and I enjoy physically challenging my body and learning new things. Secondly, there’s always a stunt double on sets even when the actors are doing their own stunts as the action director gets them to do the rehearsals of the shot as they’re the experts, before getting the actor to do a final shot. Or in the case of certain shots when they feel it’s too risky for the actor to do it- they feel it’s better for a professional to execute the shot so you’re not doing anything too risky without knowing how to do it correctly. So here’s some bts of me doing some fun shots & a big hug to my stunt double who taught me how to execute them right :)

The Ukrainian 425th Regiment "Skelya" reports directly to Sirskyi and Zelenskyi that Kostyantynivka was cleared. The truth is that the city was NOT cleared, that this is a stupid propaganda stunt just like Russia's, only contributing to the risk of the exposure of their position. The direct nomination of Zelenskyi and Sirskyi should already tell enough about who this (false) claim is directed to and for what purpose. I can only hope that, at least, they report the true state of affairs to the command. Unfortunately, such stunts work very well to show them to the general public, so it's only fair to believe that they will continue to be replicated for many months or years to come.

SNYDER: You can't imagine Trump or Hegseth visiting Kyiv. It's not that it's not going to happen. It's just unimaginable. It's psychically impossible for them. They can't be in a world where people are actually taking real risks for real things. That would be too much for them. They can't be in a place where there is courage. That would be opposed to just manipulating the rest of us with words, which is designed to make them look tough. They'd never take any risk for anything themselves. They believe that all talk of patriotism, democracy is just for show. These are people who fundamentally will just tell you what you want to hear in order to get what they want personally. For them, whole idea of democracy, and even national sovereignty, is all just a joke, right? Just a means to an end. When they're confronted by others for whom democracy or national sovereignty isn't a joke, who would fight for freedom. Not just use words like "fight for freedom," but who would, like Ukraine, do it, when they're confronted and are doing it. Have been doing it for 4 and a half years now, they don't have a way to respond besides scorn, spite, and dismissal. That's the only thing they can do, because they're in a world where those are all words, and it's all just words. When they're confronted with actual human beings, men and women who are actually taking risks, they're helpless. They have to get that topic off the table. They're only comfortable in a world where everybody is venal and hypocritical. Where everybody lies all the time. And so I think that's the fundamental thing: it's just really uncomfortable for them.

The stunt in Scarface where Omar Suárez is thrown from the helicopter was by far the most difficult and dangerous in the film, because nothing like it had ever been done in Hollywood before. Veteran stuntman Dick Ziker, who built his career on some of the industry’s most dangerous stunt work, said it was “in the top one or two” most terrifying he ever performed. The effects team had to specially design a custom ratchet rig so they could control the line as Ziker fell. It was basically a carefully rigged bungee jump, except the line was attached to his neck instead of his feet. It had to be controlled very precisely. If the rope was too loose, Ziker would bounce back up and the stunt would look fake; but if it was too tight, the force would snap his neck. The challenge was to perform it in a way that maintained realism, without risking serious injury. Dick Ziker said that when he fell from the chopper, he hit the end of the cable so hard, “it almost pulled the helicopter out of the sky…” “That was the first time anything like that ever been done - people weren't even doing bungee jumps in those days off bridges. So it was kind of an exciting, very frightening thing. I had black and blue marks everywhere. I'm going, "I will never do that again as long as I live." However, Brian De Palma reviewed the rushes and immediately felt something was off, even though he couldn’t quite put his finger on it. He eventually realized the problem: when the stunt was filmed, Ziker’s arms were not tied behind his back. So the production had to do the entire stunt again, this time with his arms fully restrained. Ziker was furious and initially refused to do the stunt over, but he eventually agreed. #CanYaman IG Post When I decided to come to Italy more than 3 years ago, mainly to play #Sandokan, it was January 2021, we immediately started working together with stunts. They trained me for 5 months straight. And for various reasons we couldn't make this big project happen. We can only do it now in April 2024. While waiting I made other projects and here we are. Once again I'm with my stunt friends and we've been working again for 4 months. Stunts are very important and indispensable especially in a project like #Sandokan. They are the ones to train you physically, to help you develop your body to a new level of skills and to be a means to discover your character. Needless to say, they are the ones risking their lives for you when necessary or making you look cool and good when there's a scene where you have to be the hero. The stunt world is a whole different world. And I respect them so much. All the guys l've met are so humble and kind as a person, and they're a great inspiration considering how they simply live and risk recklessly in a world of entertainment where everyone is afraid to get hurt and enjoy victory. I am happy and proud to be in tune with them and learn from them. On Monday the filming we've been anxiously awaiting begins, and I've never felt so ready for a role. #CanYaman

FSD V14.1 Spends 20 Minutes Looking For Parking Spot at Costco This video is sped up 35x once we get hunting for a spot and during that time the car pulls of some really inellegent moves while searching. We did not once pass any empty available spots, the only issue is we didn't go deeper into the parking lot to search and we didn't sit and wait for people who are unloading their carts. I will post the longer narrated copy of this in a bit - but this honestly is incredible... the other thing worth noting is during the entire 20 minutes we searched for a spot not ONCE did a human driver or pedestrian look at the car and question what it was doing, we fit in the entire time very naturally.
