Isn’t about time that we tell Europe and the world, YOU NEED US, WE DON’T NEED YOU🫨! America is going to be the manufacturing POWERHOUSE thanks to tariffs🇺🇸! Anyone who is against tariffs (Rand Paul🖕) is a traitor working for the unconstitutional Federal Reserve🤬

CNN fact checks Trump’s comments: He said again that the US took hundreds of billions of dollars in from China, thanks to the tariffs he imposed in his first term. That revenue came from US citizens. US Importers pay those tariffs and often pass off the costs to US Consumers

Tariffs 101: Tariffs are not paid by countries. Canada does not pay them to the US. Likewise, the US does not pay them to Canada. The importer from that country imposing the tariffs, pays it. For example, if Trump imposes 50% tariffs on trucks made by GM, but GM made them in Canada. GM is paying $50K in tariffs. Not Canada. And that $50K extra in tariffs, is ultimately paid by the consumer. Ultimately, it's a tax paid by businesses, passed down to the consumer of the country that imposed the tariffs. Likewise, Canada imposing tariffs on the US, only hurts Canadian customers. Countertariffs are done strategically, to prevent the flight of manufacturing, from Canada, to the US. In the end, during trade wars like this, consumers always end up paying the price.

This is... Quite the revealing clip. When asked about her resistance to counter tariffs on the US, Smith cited the impact on Canadian small businesses because of US tariffs and seemed to suggest she didn't want to inflict similar impact on "other communities". So, the US?

The idea that tariffs will increase jobs is NONSENSE. Manufacturing output in the US is up, but manufacturing jobs have been declining for the last 40 years-- tariffs or no tariffs. US TARIFFS ROB AMERICANS OF PURCHASING POWER. My latest on Natural Resource Stocks:
