This is the thing that happens when you start to accumulate success and or money in life. Life becomes a lot lonelier once you start to set boundaries. Once you realize ppl are only talking to you because they want something. Life ain’t better socially with more money.

He ain’t lying.. some family members will rock with u when your on the same level.. but once u start elevating higher then everyone else. They get jealous & start saying shit like “ this nigga never talk to his family no more “ yeah cuz yall mfs either talking shit or asking for bread all the time… I 100% understand everything he saying

Maybe I’m misinterpreting something here but to cut off family because they might still drink or smoke is crazy. If anything I would try to persuade them not to. However, even if they did I wouldn’t cut em out my life. Unless they’re causing me some type of harm.

And the sad thing is there are countless celebrities, athletes, musicians etc who lost everything trying to help their friends, family and community.
