SUCCESS!!!! Windows 10 boots on the S9+!!!!!!! Obviously nothing else works, like touchscreen or USB and whatnot, but I feel like we've gone past the biggest hurdle. Also will see how Windows 11 can be made to boot!

Okay, here's a crazy Windows 11 bug... I connected to Bluetooth on Windows 11, and the volume keeps jumping from 50 to 100 on its own, and every time I try to bring it down, it immediately forces itself back, like it’s fighting user input 😂 It’s funny at first, but this is exactly the kind of basic reliability issue that shouldn’t exist in Windows 11. It's not a hardware issue, as restarting Windows and repairing Bluetooth fixes it. Microsoft says 2026 will focus on fixing core Windows problems, and honestly, Bluetooth stability and audio controls need to be part of that push.

Quick Xbox Ally update! Not sure if this is part of the Windows Insider ring, Xbox Insider ring, or whatever else, but the Xbox Ally now has the Xbox Series X/S navigation sounds when you use a controller. Pretty small change that makes it feel way more like "an Xbox." Yeah you can turn them off too etc. The app also seems faster 🤔. Xbox Ally X is getting a bigger update in March to turn on the NPU clip recording feature. Will be interesting to see how that works!

For my visionOS 3.0 wishlist: The ability to place windows on a flat surface by long pressing the window bar. I often manually place my windows on walls because it’s a lot more fun to control them with haptic feedback—it’s like having a giant tablet that you can really feel. But come on, Apple, I want to place these windows on my table too! I could totally see my desk surface becoming a giant touch interface. How cool would that be?! #VisionPro
