Gives me great joy to see the Mangaluru Central-Subrahmanya Road-Mangaluru Central Passenger train, which had been running with diesel locomotive run with electric loco. Also looking forward to the replacement of the conventional rake with a MEMU, as requested by us to the Ministry of Railways, at the earliest. #ViksitBharat #ProgressOnTrack #Mangaluru #IndianRailways

#WATCH | Shimla, Himachal Pradesh | The Kalka-Shimla toy train service partially resumed on Thursday (3rd September), with trains operating between Dharampur and Shimla after a section of the heritage railway track near Parwanoo in Solan district remained damaged for over a week. The track disruption had led to the cancellation of six passenger trains on the UNESCO World Heritage Kalka-Shimla railway line. With restoration work on the damaged stretch still underway, the Railways has allowed train services between Dharampur and Shimla.
