Such a sweet girl

My girl was so much like her. I miss her so much and can never experience loss like this again, it hurt so bad to lose her.

My girl used a huggy sweater early on too! Such a great product! She also needs a weighted blanket! Sweet little girl!

My little pittie girl has these panic attacks often. Any noise she doesn't recognize in the house, scares her and she'll go outside for hours. I just hold and love her tightly.

Next time something that terrifies her occurs, toss little pieces of the best thing possible. I kept small pea sized pieces of cheap steak in the freezer in small baggies. Noise/happy voice “treat!”/toss/praise/repeat. Got my rescue Saint through fireworks,trucks on walks, etc.

Omg I swear I’ve fostered all kinds of dogs rescued my current group golden, lab, great pyr but my pittie fosters are the sweetest, smartest, snuggliest dogs! My next foster fail is gonna be a pittie❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Just sit with the dog, that's all you need to do... Acknowledging their distress just confirm to the dog that they are right to be anxious / scared.

Once upon a time ... When this animal was human It was scared of loud bangs . Soldier I think ... It's just like PTSD .....

I watched a documentary about a woman who was a professional in animal husbandry and she developed a contraption for cows that calmed them down and it went around thei chest. She also developed one for herself (she was autistic) and it helped her with anxiety.
