While reporting outside the High Court of Justice on Tommy Robinson's trial, I met this lady who was absolutely distraught and is crying out for help. The reason? Sexual abuse of a 21 month old baby, her daughter missing, grandchildren being snatched by the state including newborn, cover ups and dismissals, further abuse and grooming gangs are just some of the horrific things that her and her family are going through. She was at court today with forensic evidence of abuse to the baby and in her words here has been dismissed! Her name is Juliette and she asked us to share her story, while pleading for anyone who can help her to please get in touch. Her daughter has been missing again for nearly 2 weeks while her young grandchildren, babies, are being abused and dismissed, she is terrified. Tommy repeatedly warned him to back off, but instead, the man advanced. Tommy responded in self-defence and the man fell to the ground. St. Pancras station is completely covered with surveillance cameras, and unless police delete that footage, it will clearly show the man besetting and threatening Tommy. It was 100% self defence. A lot of people are victims of crime in London, especially in their subway system. Even Donald Trump mentioned London’s decay yesterday in his visit to the UK. There were 940,000 crimes reported in London last year alone — and of course, many people don’t even bother calling police anymore. Tommy is more alert than most people because he regularly gets threatened by people who disagree with him. I see that the regime media are reporting that Tommy has fled the jurisdiction, but that’s not true. It is true that Tommy later left the UK, but it was for pre-scheduled meetings, including international media interviews. He’s not fleeing, he already reported the incident to the police, and he has never in his life tried to evade authorities. You’ll remember, just last year he voluntarily flew from Spain to London, to present himself to the court, even though he knew he would be sent to jail. Tommy doesn’t run — not from thugs at the train station, or from police trying to stitch him up. I’ve spoken with Tommy and with Tommy’s criminal lawyers and I’ve offered to crowdfund this latest legal battle — which is nothing more and nothing less than self-defence against a London hoodlum. I don’t have an estimate of how much this is going to cost — I guess it depends on how badly the government wants to go after Tommy. He was the victim of the crime here, in Sadiq Khan’s dangerous city. Unlike 940,000 other Londoners, he managed to save himself. Tommy Robinson is in court again. The last two efforts have failed: one hearing was to appeal his sentence; another hearing was to review his atrocious treatment in prison. But neither worked. I honestly don’t know if Tommy Robinson can ever get a fair hearing in the UK. But this time I think it’s different — and if I had to bet on it, I’d bet he’s going to be let out of prison. Tomorrow is a hearing where Tommy will seek to “purge his contempt”. That’s a technical legal term for making things right with the justice system. Tommy was found in contempt — and sentenced to prison — because he posted a video to Twitter, contrary to a judge’s order. That video has since been seen more than 160 million times, making it the most most-watched documentary in British history. But as long as that video was online, the judge wouldn’t let Tommy out. So Tommy took it down. He held the line for 200 days. But being kept in abusive conditions, in solitary confinement, for more than half a year is not something anyone can — or should — endure. Tommy made his point: the UK is not a country that respects freedom of speech. And Keir Starmer made his point: he’ll send his prosecutors to hunt down anyone who talks about uncomfortable subjects like refugees, radical Islam or terrorism. According to the Times of London, there are literally 30 arrests every day in the UK of people saying things on social media. But Tommy’s video is now down. There is no more contempt of court. And Tommy’s lawyers will make that case to the judge. (We don’t yet know if Starmer’s prosecutors will be there to try to keep him in longer — it wouldn’t surprise me.) .Ezra Levant 🍁🚛 recaps Tommy Robinson 🇬🇧's appeal hearing from London 🇬🇧 The British journalist and activist is currently in solitary confinement in the notorious HMP Woodhill prison. Tommy Robinson’s hearing at the UK Court of Appeal was held today. It wasn’t long — just 75 minutes. Tommy himself joined by video link from prison, but he wasn’t allowed to say anything, he could just observe. Tommy had an excellent lawyer, a senior barrister named Alisdair Williamson, KC. He was the barrister who won an important case for Tommy against the Metropolitan Police, when they illegally banned Tommy from entering London. Today’s appeal was for the sentence Tommy received for his contempt of court conviction. Normally, an appeal is just on the existing record — that is, the evidence that was heard by the sentencing judge. There is no new evidence; it’s not a do-over. The higher court merely weighs whether or not the trial judge got it right or wrong. Williamson made the case today that there was important “fresh evidence” that the Court of Appeal should consider — namely, that an independent psychologist has visited Tommy in prison, and written up a detailed, 39-page diagnosis of his mental health after so many months in solitary confinement. Williamson said that information was obviously not in the hands of the sentencing judge, but the Court of Appeal should consider it. The government’s main lawyer was Aidan Eardley, KC. I felt like he was weaker. And his argument in response to the psychologist’s report was essentially, “so what?” As in, he didn’t care that Tommy was being made mentally ill by keeping him in isolation; he told the three-judge panel that if Tommy really wanted to get out of prison, he should just delete the Twitter video that got him thrown in prison in the first place. I thought Tommy’s lawyers did well. But appeals are inherently uphill battles. Higher courts are reluctant to overturn lower courts unless the trial judge got something very wrong. It’s up to the Court of Appeal to decide whether to allow that fresh evidence in, and whether to give it any weight. I’m really starting to worry that it is now impossible for Tommy to get justice in the UK legal system. He has been so demonized, and the government is so obviously pursuing a vendetta, he really has become an “enemy of the state”, as his book is titled. I saw a story in the Times of London last week that said on any given day in the UK, police arrest 30 people for social media posts — 30 per day! Frankly, I doubt Russia’s Vladimir Putin arrests that many for social media posts. An entire system has been built to censor ideas and block people from speaking out. Tommy has been the “test case” for that. The judges concluded by saying they’ll release their ruling in the days ahead. I’m not optimistic, but you never know — remember, Tommy beat the Met Police in court, and that was the same lawyer. He’ll keep fighting for freedom. I flew seven hours to London and took a cab for another hour — that’s a long way to come for a 75-minute hearing. But I’m glad I did, and I hope you followed along with my live-tweeting. It's the least I can do; is keep going to court to ensure that the mainstream media isn’t the only source of news as to what happened. The higher court merely weighs whether or not the trial judge got it right or wrong. Williamson made the case today that there was important “fresh evidence” that the Court of Appeal should consider — namely, that an independent psychologist has visited Tommy in prison, and written up a detailed, 39-page diagnosis of his mental health after so many months in solitary confinement. Williamson said that information was obviously not in the hands of the sentencing judge, but the Court of Appeal should consider it. The government’s main lawyer was Aidan Eardley, KC. I felt like he was weaker. And his argument in response to the psychologist’s report was essentially, “so what?” As in, he didn’t care that Tommy was being made mentally ill by keeping him in isolation; he told the three-judge panel that if Tommy really wanted to get out of prison, he should just delete the Twitter video that got him thrown in prison in the first place. I thought Tommy’s lawyers did well. But appeals are inherently uphill battles. Higher courts are reluctant to overturn lower courts unless the trial judge got something very wrong. It’s up to the Court of Appeal to decide whether to allow that fresh evidence in, and whether to give it any weight. I’m really starting to worry that it is now impossible for Tommy to get justice in the UK legal system. He has been so demonized, and the government is so obviously pursuing a vendetta, he really has become an “enemy of the state”, as his book is titled. I saw a story in the Times of London last week that said on any given day in the UK, police arrest 30 people for social media posts — 30 per day! Frankly, I doubt Russia’s Vladimir Putin arrests that many for social media posts. An entire system has been built to censor ideas and block people from speaking out. Tommy has been the “test case” for that. The judges concluded by saying they’ll release their ruling in the days ahead. I’m not optimistic, but you never know — remember, Tommy beat the Met Police in court, and that was the same lawyer. He’ll keep fighting for freedom. I flew seven hours to London and took a cab for another hour — that’s a long way to come for a 75-minute hearing. But I’m glad I did, and I hope you followed along with my live-tweeting. It’s official: police have dropped the charges against Tommy Robinson! Police could have immediately told Tommy that they would not be pursuing this matter — they had the surveillance footage immediately. It’s official: the police have acknowledged, in writing, that Tommy Robinson 🇬🇧 acted in self-defence last month when he defended himself against an unprovoked attack at the St. Pancras train station. Here's the letter police sent, received by Tommy today. In short, they will not be charging him — they say there’s no evidence he did anything wrong. Just a reminder: last month a crazed leftist — who admitted he was drunk — spotted Tommy by chance and decided to attack him. Tommy did his best to evade the man and kept telling him to back off, but the attacker persisted. At the last moment possible, Tommy defended himself, and the attacker hit the floor. It was clearly a case of self-defence. Tommy immediately called police to report the incident, and had his lawyers follow up the next morning. Police would have immediately known it was self-defence by watching the surveillance footage of the train station. But two-tier policing is now the norm in the UK, so they preferred to try to make it into a “scandal” and impose stress and costs on Tommy. (Frankly, I’m worried they’re going to try to do something to stop Tommy’s massive rally on Sept. 13.) What I saw at the Tommy Robinson hearing today Today Tommy Robinson (Tommy Robinson 🇬🇧) had a hearing at the Royal Courts of Justice. The judge was Martin Chamberlain. The question at hand was this: are Tommy’s prison conditions dire enough that he needs an expedited hearing to review how the prison is treating him? As in: are things so bad that the courts need to move very quickly to review things — as opposed to their normal, slow pace? On Tommy’s team was prison lawyer Sara Watson and a barrister named Alisdair Williamson, KC. (Williamson was Tommy’s successful lawyer last year, when the Metropolitan Police tried to ban Tommy from going into the city of London. He’s really good.) On the other side was a battery of government lawyers — I counted four, led by Tom Cross, KC. Just stop for a moment to think about that: the UK government hired FOUR lawyers, at taxpayers expense, to fight against Tommy Robinson’s request to have an expediting hearing to review his atrocious treatment in prison. They probably spent more than £150,000 of tax dollars just on today’s battle. (Imagine if Keir Starmer put that much energy and effort into fighting real crime in the UK.) It’s not justice. It’s a vendetta. I’ve attended a lot of trials for Tommy over the years; he’s won some and he’s lost some. But this one felt good. Tommy’s team had a report from an expert psychologist who went to prison to examine Tommy. She found that, being kept in a small cell 21 hours a day, for more than 140 days, has induced a kind of PTSD in Tommy. The government didn’t even try to contradict those findings. They did, however, try to say that Tommy had all the privileges he could ask for, including visits, phone calls, a computer, TV and the like. But as the government lawyer was saying that, Tommy — who was on a video link from prison — started waving his hands, signalling to the judge that he had something to say. The judge stopped the proceedings and invited Williamson to phone Tommy to see what the fuss was about. The court took a half hour break. And then something incredible happened. The government lawyer had just been bragging about how luxurious Tommy’s treatment was — including how many phone calls he could make. But when the court resumed, Tommy held up a sign to the video camera in his prison video room. And on it, he wrote that the prison had cut off the phone call in the middle of his conversation with Williamson! The judge saw that note and asked what happened. And indeed it was true: literally in the middle of Tommy’s conversation with Williamson, the bullies at the prison cut off the phone call, as they have done to him so many times before. As Williamson said to the judge, the one act of misconduct that the entire court witnessed proved that when it came to Tommy, there’s a big difference between what the prison says and what the prison does. The judge was angry — remember, it was he who had asked Williamson to consult with Tommy; it was an important part of the hearing, to make sure the judge had all the facts. The bullies at the prison weren’t just messing around with Tommy this time; they were messing around with a judge. The judge tore a strip off the government lawyer, and had a one-hour break for Tommy to talk to his lawyers properly. When we all resumed, the judge said the prison’s shenanigans had delayed things so much, the judge wasn’t ready to release his ruling today — he’ll do that tomorrow. What a note to end on. I’m not saying it’s a sure thing that Tommy is going to win. But it couldn’t have been a clearer illustration of how the prison casually abuses Tommy, and gaslights him about it. Except this time, they didn’t seem to realize they were fighting with the judge, too. It was quite a dramatic moment. I spoke to Williamson after the hearing, and he says he’ll share the ruling with me tomorrow when the judge releases it — I’ll make sure to send you an email with the results as soon as I can. The case for Tommy Robinson & a message to the broader Jewish community. I am a British Jew who has carefully followed Tommy Robinson 🇬🇧 unique journey throughout the years. Whilst i’ve not always agreed with everything he’s ever said or done I have for the most part agreed with his general message/s & understood that he’s always been ahead of the curve on many key important issues & has in most cases been extremely unfairly demonised & treated by our political ruling class & our media establishment among other such powers that be. I have also always been of the strong belief that despite whatever flaws he may of had or continues to have (which I’m sure he’d be the first to admit) he has always been an overall greater force for the good than the bad. Many of the issues Tommy raised & spoke about fifteen odd years ago, the entire country is now awake to today & they cannot deny these hard truths, that Tommy was right all along. Let’s rewind where back then he would be sneered at, dismissed & falsely labelled certain words, when in reality none of them were really true. Even today Camilla Tominey is a prime example of this type of brazen behaviour & she’s not even somebody on the left of the political spectrum. Tommy may be many things but a ‘white supremacist/nationalist’ he certainly is not. Trust me… as the grandson & third generation of Holocaust survivors I think know. This is where journalism has lost its credibility, even on the right & unfortunately there is little to no accountability. Too many people become blinded by emotion, instead of applying logic & reason. Tommy may be & mean many things to many people but i’d say above all that Tommy Robinson is a concerned citizen, a concerned man, a concerned father & a concerned patriot who wishes the best for his county & for the future generations of this country. This scapegoating & demonisation however in my view is also the end result of years of fake news & propaganda levelled at the man in order to make him into a scapegoat & paint him as the United Kingdom’s number one villain. When in reality as Douglas Murray (who rightfully said in my view) that Tommy Robinson & dare I say it, the EDL, all those years ago were a secondary symptom to a much larger primary problem, which was brushed aside & never addressed. Be it the rise of radicalism, extremism, hate preaching, terrorism, or indeed the ignored systemic widespread abuse of vulnerable white girls all across towns & cities, which btw still sadly exists today in parts of our country. The truth is had the same people who foolishly look down upon & snubbed Tommy actually bothered to listen & engage with the man & such communities like that of Luton’s more often & had taken their grievances far more seriously as they deserved at the time, the likelihood is that most people would not even have heard of who this man is today. The case for Tommy Robinson & a message to the broader Jewish community. I am a British Jew who has carefully followed Tommy Robinson 🇬🇧 unique journey throughout the years. Whilst i’ve not always agreed with everything he’s ever said or done I have for the most part agreed with his general message/s & understood that he’s always been ahead of the curve on many key important issues & has in most cases been extremely unfairly demonised & treated by our political ruling class & our media establishment among other such powers that be. I have also always been of the strong belief that despite whatever flaws he may of had or continues to have (which I’m sure he’d be the first to admit) he has always been an overall greater force for the good than the bad. Many of the issues Tommy raised & spoke about fifteen odd years ago, the entire country is now awake to today & they cannot deny these hard truths, that Tommy was right all along. Let’s rewind where back then he would be sneered at, dismissed & falsely labelled certain words, when in reality none of them were really true. Even today Camilla Tominey is a prime example of this type of brazen behaviour & she’s not even somebody on the left of the political spectrum. Tommy may be many things but a ‘white supremacist/nationalist’ he certainly is not. Trust me… as the grandson & third generation of Holocaust survivors I think know. This is where journalism has lost its credibility, even on the right & unfortunately there is little to no accountability. Too many people become blinded by emotion, instead of applying logic & reason. Tommy may be & mean many things to many people but i’d say above all that Tommy Robinson is a concerned citizen, a concerned man, a concerned father & a concerned patriot who wishes the best for his county & for the future generations of this country. This scapegoating & demonisation however in my view is also the end result of years of fake news & propaganda levelled at the man in order to make him into a scapegoat & paint him as the United Kingdom’s number one villain. When in reality as Douglas Murray (who rightfully said in my view) that Tommy Robinson & dare I say it, the EDL, all those years ago were a secondary symptom to a much larger primary problem, which was brushed aside & never addressed. Be it the rise of radicalism, extremism, hate preaching, terrorism, or indeed the ignored systemic widespread abuse of vulnerable white girls all across towns & cities, which btw still sadly exists today in parts of our country. The truth is had the same people who foolishly look down upon & snubbed Tommy actually bothered to listen & engage with the man & such communities like that of Luton’s more often & had taken their grievances far more seriously as they deserved at the time, the likelihood is that most people would not even have heard of who this man is today. FACT CHECK: Here at the first trial, the Commonwealth’s own expert witness, Ian Whiffin, confirms the necessity & importance of hash values for the sake of “hash verification”, a necessary step in authenticating the data & being able to verify that it hasn’t been altered or manipulated. In fact, Whiffin actually gives this testimony in response to a question about when the data have been altered or tampered with, if there’s a way for the forensic examiner (him) to detect it, and/or verify its authenticity and integrity. Remarkably, despite the DFIR industry standard methodology of hash verifying a digital forensic extraction, like that of Jen McCabe’s iPhone, prior to conducting any analysis on it with any forensic tools, Ian Whiffin testified that notably, for his work on this case, not only did he abandon this standard methodology, but he also admitted that the forensic extraction of Jen McCabe’s iPhone, which he received from the Commonwealth, was stripped of its hash value. Perhaps more remarkably, this stunning fact apparently didn’t raise any red flags for Ian Whiffin when conducting his analysis in this case, where he’s providing testimony in a murder trial. One must ask themselves why that is? However, defense expert Richard Green, in his affidavit, states that: “Typically, forensic examiners are provided with the raw image file and the associated: hash value documentation together. After validating the hash value, I would then accept that the data has not been manipulated. Here, however, the hash documentation was not provided with the raw image of the cell phone. Instead, it was withheld from the defense. As a forensic examiner having received hundreds of imaged phones over the course of my decades-long career, this was unprecedented.” Contrary to Mr. Whiffin’s approach, upon initially receiving a purported extraction of Jen McCabe’s iPhone without a hash value to authenticate and verify the integrity of the data, Mr. Green promptly requested the hash value and corresponding GrayKey supplemental files from the Commonwealth in order to conduct his analysis. After making this demand, and when the Commonwealth had to produce the hash verification data for Jen McCabe’s iPhone, remarkably, the Commonwealth also produced—for the first time, and over a year later on February 8, 2023—the Full File System Extraction of Jen McCabe’s iPhone (see “Notice of Discovery VIII,” attached). Unlike the initial purported “extraction” produced by Trooper Nicholas Guarino, this one contained Jen McCabe’s incriminating 2:27am Google search and all of the manual deletions of her communications, among other incriminating evidence, surrounding the murder of Officer John O’Keefe (see defense’s Rule 17 motion from April 12, 2023, attached). So, this begs the question: If Ian Whiffin knows the importance of hash verification in validating the authenticity of the data he’s working with in the first place, then why didn’t he take the same actions as defense expert Richard Green did to responsibly and reliably provide analysis in this case? If Whiffin ought to be deemed an expert, qualified to provide analysis and testimony at trial, then why did he abandon his industry’s standard methodology of hash verification in this case?
