Brother is spitting facts. I try my hardest to not trauma dump on my kids and treat them differently than I was raised. Not always successful but I’m trying. We are all a work in progress. 💪

If your wife is mad all the time that’s your fault. There’s something you’re not doing right to make your wife happy at home. Maybe all of the burdens of family life is on her. All the child rearing is on her, housekeeping is on her. Maybe she’s just tired and need some help.

💯 I told myself a long time ago that I would always remember how I felt when I was a kid. I raised 2 amazing young men. Don’t get me wrong, I corrected them. Sometimes I had to be hard on them but afterwards I hugged, kissed them and told them I loved them. I never, ever wanted them to feel the way I did when I was a kid.

Ugh this was disappointing, you could’ve instead stepped back and assessed the situation and idk, talk to the mom about how she parenting and what u can do to help. Obv she’s stressed but instead u used that moment to prop yourself up.

I got whooped every 2 weeks it seems but I needed it and i felt loved. I whooped my kid and she loves me. I only had to whoop her twice though she was a fast learner.

So true. I chose the same path. Me and my wife decided that we would be different. No more generational trauma. That ended with me. My daughter is 24 and is a beautiful, well adjusted and intelligent young lady. I shielded her from the bad.
