Don't forget the general discourse around this time was why the fuck is Kyle getting high profile matches weekly. They complained he was Ospreay's first match on the AEW roster. Dude was given the chance to prove himself and he ran with the fuckin' ball and has been killing it

God, Fletch is such a star.

If he hadn’t started shouting “I am nothing like you” it wouldn’t have been cringe. I love Fletcher but this was correctly clowned on. Wrestlers have a bad tendency of thinking shouting = good. It’d have hit harder if he’d just said it once, shaved his head fully and walked off
