This relates to the old(er) friend zone meme. Do women not understand this? I think they do but they want to collect these "safe" friends. Meanwhile the dudes are losing their minds wondering why their efforts are going nowhere.

It depends on the activity and the person. If i need to fix something in my house i might mention it to my best mate and hell say: Yo ill come and give you a hand. thats not dropping it in a group text and seeing who comes over.
