This take is dangerously untrue. I always see people on this platform talking about China’s propaganda but it’s us who are the worst at it. When I travel to China I get asked about things like “do people really move out at age 18?” But in the US it’s always dangerous assumptions about control, surveillance, weaponry, and the like. People are not their governments but governments are their people. Quit playing into the hands of people that belong to neither party on either side.

We see this all the time. A simple, loving, comfortable, thriving family. Till a spouse gets promoted. So now they have to work late, travel more, go abroad for seminars & retreats for weeks or months. Suddenly? Lack of family time, affairs, abandonment, name it. Family ends. Sad
