The dad in this video is Jack Nance, who acted in several David Lynch projects, including Eraserhead, in which he starred.

While, I do prefer the 1993 re-recorded version of this song, it is great at portraying the angst of the youth! Very influential for making thrash metal and hard punk rock more popular. All I wanted was a Pepsi! Just one Pepsi!
