The SuitX Phoenix exoskeleton costs $40,000. This is relatively low compared to other exoskeletons. The Phoenix is designed to help people with mobility disorders to be upright and mobile. It weighs 27 pounds and has a maximum speed of 1.1 miles per hour.

In the coming years, experiencing a significant accident may not necessarily result in lifelong paralysis. Numerous technologies are currently under development to regain control over limbs after nerve damage, improve bodily functions, and enhance vision. We are headed towards Cyberpunk, except I hope it will be less punk and more cyber 😅

Researchers at Nagoya University strapped a cable-and-pulley wearable robot onto a rat to study how mechanical movement support could help humans recover from spinal cord injuries and strokes. The robot moves the rat's legs based on recorded data of how rats actually walk. The actual science is serious.
