My Latest AI short was made with Seedance 2.0 the model that has been firing up the internet over the past couple of days. I made this in two and half days and it's an original short that is based on HP Lovecraft's work which is now Public Domain (No Copyright infringement here!). If you are not into period romances then bare with it as it gets a more little action packed in the second half! The model is brilliant at both performance and action, you can now make convincing dialogue and action sequences for AI cinema. With this model we have now reached the stage where we can tell any story we want with AI, the tools are capable. This is only 720p at the moment but I suspect it will be upgraded to 1080p very soon. We stand at the threshold of having broadcast quality tools capable of creating anything we can imagine available to everyone, so lets do new an interesting things with it. What I ended up getting was a unanimous Not Guilty verdict because my stalkers on the internet tried way too hard and over played their hand. In trying to hurt me, you fucked this guys chances of beating his own A&B with a deadly weapon charge. It’s now public record that he admitted to his own actual crimes while attempting to lie about my allegations under oath. Finally got our hands on Seedance 2.0 (through YouArt) and ran it head-to-head with Kling AI 3.0. Here’s what stood out: Seedance 2.0’s physics feel stronger right away. I’ve kind of been struggling the whole time 🦊 How should I say this… I had burnout come and go a few times and these days I’ve had a lot of worries and a lot on my mind but my thoughts wouldn’t organize themselves, that’s why I’ve been talking with a lot of people and listening to them and while doing that, I’ve been sorting out my thoughts little by little. It's official. OpenAI just launched SORA 2... and an entirely new social app. Truthfully... I wanted to hate this. The idea of an endless turbo slop scroller is just… nightmare fuel to me. BUT. The reason I think Sora (the app) might actually just work, is that it’s a multiplayer meme-creation machine. It’s fun. It doesn’t take itself seriously. I think of it like a super advanced evolution of JibJab. The group chats will love it. Now… personally, I'd guess that I will be churning after the novelty fades… but I wouldn’t be surprised if they built some meaningful network effects here. But let’s talk about the model. Sora 2 is an instant Veo 3 alternative. It actually produces better physics, better audio, and deeper realism imo. It can also generate up to 15 seconds of video. Where it falls short is that it’s limited to 720p right now. We can assume 1080p and 4k exist, but the compute cost associated would probably not be economically viable for OpenAI. Okay back to the app. You can create a model after your own likeness, for yourself OR other people to use as a “cameo.” You have control over who and how someone can use your likeness. I’m “rpn24” on the app. If you have access to the app (it’s invite-only for now) – go ahead and create whatever you want using me (for now). I'm not too worried because OpenAI leaned heavily into moderation for launch. Which is probably smart because I expect the media and general public to blast this at first. They’ve also taken further precautions to protect your likeness. You can not export or save a video with someone else's likeness on it, and screen recording is disabled. Also Sora is testing (first I know of its kind) an algorithm you can prompt.

It's official. OpenAI just launched SORA 2... and an entirely new social app. Truthfully... I wanted to hate this. The idea of an endless turbo slop scroller is just… nightmare fuel to me. BUT. The reason I think Sora (the app) might actually just work, is that it’s a multiplayer meme-creation machine. It’s fun. It doesn’t take itself seriously. I think of it like a super advanced evolution of JibJab. The group chats will love it. Now… personally, I'd guess that I will be churning after the novelty fades… but I wouldn’t be surprised if they built some meaningful network effects here. But let’s talk about the model. Sora 2 is an instant Veo 3 alternative. It actually produces better physics, better audio, and deeper realism imo. It can also generate up to 15 seconds of video. Where it falls short is that it’s limited to 720p right now. We can assume 1080p and 4k exist, but the compute cost associated would probably not be economically viable for OpenAI. Okay back to the app. You can create a model after your own likeness, for yourself OR other people to use as a “cameo.” You have control over who and how someone can use your likeness. I’m “rpn24” on the app. If you have access to the app (it’s invite-only for now) – go ahead and create whatever you want using me (for now). I'm not too worried because OpenAI leaned heavily into moderation for launch. Which is probably smart because I expect the media and general public to blast this at first. They’ve also taken further precautions to protect your likeness. You can not export or save a video with someone else's likeness on it, and screen recording is disabled. Also Sora is testing (first I know of its kind) an algorithm you can prompt.

This is the discrimination we face daily as women athletes in competitive games. I have been playing CS since 2005. Some ask me: “But you have played for so long, you must have a thick skin to all this toxicity by now?” And normally I answer: “Yes, I do”. But I don’t want to have a thick skin to play a game I love, where I want to develop as a professional and break new barriers. I don’t want to show strength and ignore, or fight back every time I am being harassed for my gender. I don’t want to feel like I don’t belong or that I am worse “by default”. Two premades who started the game with “why do I have 2 women on my team” and were sexist to Zana 🦦 and me the whole game. Yet we tried to close our eyes to it and just did everything to win the game. When the game was won, we got a message “ez carry”. When things go wrong, stop blaming others, but focus on yourself and your own mistakes instead. And let us play!
