Groceries are expensive enough and we need to be lowering costs. Trump and Republicans’ massive cuts to SNAP have only made it harder for Arizona families to put food on the table.

Right now, everything costs more because Donald Trump raised taxes and started a trade war with our allies. It has caused prices to rise, shut down markets for farmers and manufacturers, and made it more expensive to put food on the table. We are doing everything we can to bring costs down for PA families, but Donald Trump is working against us — and against you.

It’s an expensive start to the summer travel season with everything from gas to groceries costing you more this year. Families stocking up for Memorial Day barbecues this weekend are feeling the heat, and many Americans will be forced to make some tough choices. CBS News’ Shanelle Kaul has more.

American families are going to struggle to put food on the table if Trump refuses to act.

The Trump economy isn’t working for American families. Grocery prices are up. Gas prices are up. It’s too damn expensive to live in Donald Trump’s America.

Thanks to Donald Trump, diesel just hit an all-time high and your groceries just got even more expensive.

Ohioans are working harder than ever just to put gas in the tank and food on the table – Jon Husted doesn’t see it.

Trump promised to lower costs on Day 1, but grocery prices keep rising. Families are now spending 11%+ of their income on groceries—the most in decades. All while Trump & the GOP push to steal from working families to pay for new tax breaks for billionaires. Enough!

We all need to keep up the pressure and demand that Trump follows the law and gets SNAP benefits to the millions of families and kids that are counting on them to put food on the table.

It’s Tax Day, and thanks to President Donald J. Trump, families across South Carolina are seeing real relief from the One Big Beautiful Bill. As Senate Budget Chairman, I was proud to help deliver this win. Working families come first under this administration, and we’re just getting started.

Michiganders are already paying more for just about everything. These tariffs would drive up the cost of groceries, threaten good-paying jobs, and hit working families the hardest. We need to protect Michigan’s auto manufacturing, lower costs, and fight for our working families.

Throwback to November when we shopped for groceries to donate to our local food bank. The prices were shocking. 👉 $22.99 for a single can of baby formula 👉 Over $1,000 for just 84 pounds of food This wasn’t luxury shopping. It was the basics, peanut butter, soup, baby formula, canned goods. The essentials families rely on to feed their children and put meals on the table. The hard truth is simple: working families are struggling. We can argue policy in Washington all day, but if families can’t afford groceries, the economy isn’t working. We can do better. We must do better.

Billionaires like Vivek Ramaswamy have a plan for Ohio that’s working for them — but it’s not working for the rest of us. It’s not working for the families across Ohio who are worried about how they’re going to put food on the table. It’s time for a new plan.

Using food stamps at Jack in the Box while families are struggling to put basic groceries on the table is exactly why people are fed up. These programs were meant to help people survive — not turn fast food into a taxpayer-funded drive-thru. Wrong is wrong.

If Burnham wants to cut the cost of living, he must axe Miliband’s Fertiliser Tax. If food is more expensive to grow, it’s more expensive to buy. Making fertiliser 25% more expensive will put up the price of meat, bread, milk and butter - most of a weekly shop. It’s got to go.
