Happy Birthday to the cosmic legend Sun Ra! Sun Ra wasn't just a jazz musician—he was an intergalactic visionary, a philosopher, and a pioneer of Afrofuturism. With his Arkestra, he redefined the boundaries of sound, space, and spirit. From the experimental "Space Is the Place" to his mind-bending live performances, Sun Ra used music as a vessel for cosmic truth and Black liberation. His legacy still pulses through jazz, hip-hop, electronic music, and beyond... "I am not of this Earth. I am another order of being." — Sun Ra
